So we are moving into another house in a couple weeks. Living here in the Phoenix area with summer temps well above 100 for 3 months, the garage gets somewhat hot. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to keep the temps down so I can actually be in the garage during the summer? We...

    Snap On ratchet warranty

I have an old F720A from my dad. The part where the socket attaches (not sure of the part name) is cracked. If I call Snap On do they require you send it in for replacement or will they send out new one and I can keep the broken one? I would like to keep it because it belonged to my dad.

    HF's Pittsburgh Breaker Bar

So I went out a few weeks ago and bought myself a 3/8 drive breaker bar from Harbor Freight. Put it in my tool chest. Yesterday I went to use it and I can't get any of my sockets to fit onto the bar. Too big. Has anyone else had this same problem? Today I went to their website to give my review...

Just started to get myself some better tools a couple months ago. Here's what I have so far. Keep in mind I am a complete NOVICE. Please give me your input as to how I can improve or what I may need to add to my collection. Most are Craftsman, with some Snap On and even Pittsburgh stuff.

    Snap On truck......

I was just wondering about the Snap On trucks. I don't work in a shop but would like to buy the 4 in 1 screwdriver Snap On has. It's under $20. Can I just go into the truck and buy one? Would the truck have them or do I need to order online? Do they take Visa or cash only? Thanks!

I'm not sure where to post this question. I want to learn some basic auto repair so I don't always have to call the mechanic. I live in the Tulsa area and other than a full 9 month course at the community college, I cannot find a class to teach these basics on auto repair and maintenance...

    Socket Set Advice Needed!

OK...new here and my first thread and 2nd time I put something here. I love your forum here. I am a casual self repair guy, meaning I don't do a lot due to lack of knowledge but am learning. I recently bought both a metric and standard set of 3/8 drive sockets, along with ratchets. A friend who...
