Looking for small drive screws or rivets with large heads ??

Trying to replace a mushroomed rivet I had to drill out (on the right of 1st pic). I can use this washer head screw on the left with no problem but I want it to look original with a smooth, flattened head. Tried grinding the phillips slots down but I can still see them. A drive screw would be...

    What is it? part 1

Can you identify this punch (?)

Was in some of my granddad's things. Tip is very sharp. The blunt end is machined and not a separate piece screwed into place. You can see vague marks on that blunt end where a screw held it into a handle or attachment. There are no holes in it. I've had guesses from plumb bob to leather...

Unique C clamp - what is it for?

Found this while going through granddad's old tool box. Know what it was for? Looks like slots in the side might have held a tray or cable maybe? Can barely see the odd clip on top. The "C" is about 5" long.

Exposed SPRINGS - wax, paint, or?

I have this big exposed spring on an old Dumore drill. Looks like it is blackened but the inside had a little rust on it. I've cleaned up and repainted the drill and base, and removed the rust from the spring but wondering how best to preserve it. It will rub the column a little when I raise...

    Suggestions on Needle Scaler???

I like to clean up old rusty hand tools, vises, farm tools, etc., and looks like the scaler would come in handy for the rust and paint, but I know nothing about them - brands, quality, specs, price. Not wanting to spend a lot but will probably have this for a while so an affordable-new or...

Oil or Grease? in Bosch 11205 rotary hammer drill

Took this apart to clean and lube, and oil poured out of the gear box - was expecting grease. Is there supposed to be oil in here? The plastic case does have a very good rubber seal on it. If it is oil, what kind should I use and how full should it be? I don't have a manual for it...
