    ladder extension

Yeah, but they didn't survive to talk about it. Ladders are not something to mess around with. Always use the appropriate ladder correctly, every time. A few bucks isn't worth dying for. :dunno:

Whats with the Milwaukee Hand tool hate?

They certainly don't look as strong as other impact bits. I've had good luck with Hitachi and Bosch impact bits. My Milwaukee bits look pretty gnarly after a day.

That what I was pointing out, not worth arguing with someone who knows everything though.

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

That set is not the 34-piece Christmas set. That set is a new 50-piece obstruction wrench set.

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

What most people don't understand is that every Lowe's is it's own little kingdom. Some kings will play ball, some won't. It's just the way it is. I have two Lowe's here that are literally 2 miles apart and they are almost two different stores. One will deal and does tons of clearance, the...

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

Prices on the remaining crossforce wrenches seem to be going down if you have stores that still have them. Picked up an 8mm for $0.41 just because... A couple of sizes are down to $2.**

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

Some stores might be using the new inventory system that integrates with lowes.com. The inventory system I used as an employee last year was archaic and I know a new one was being implemented at some point.

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

I was a seasonal employee last year and we would always have customers come in and expect something to be in stock because of the website. The real inventory tracking system that employees can access in-store is more accurate. In my experience in comparing the two, the public facing website...

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

The online inventory system and the store inventory are two different systems that do not interact with each other in real time. More like once a day. You're giving Lowe's employees way too much credit if you think they're smart enough to be pulling and hiding orders. Most of the people...

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

I bought a 13, 15, and 17mm crossforce for $11.** for my common oil change sizes. Got the extreme access metric set for $4.44. Figured they would would be good for a moving day tool kit.

Husky Mechanics Tool Set 235-Pc $79 dollars in store only

Yup, I usually clean out HD after Xmas. They've already dropped prices on some the Xmas stuff at my local stores. The individual stores have different prices though. An Xmas set may be $8 at one store but full price at the other. Between the three stores here I think I have one of everything I...

    Menards - In store specials

They couldn't sell them because the lines to check out were 3 miles long and not moving.

Post a picture of your ratchets!!

It's not hard to do. Especially hanging out in this place. I only got serious about tools a couple of years ago, but I have 30 ratchets at last count. All from sales and sets I've learned about because of this place. Most of them are drawer filler, I use about 3 or 4 regularly.

    Menards BF ad !

I made the mistake of going to Menards at 11am to see if there was anything left over. The lines were insane, you'd think they were giving stuff away the way people were packed in there. Menards is usually a flustercuck on a normal busy day because the of the exit barricades, but today was...
