Looks like Craftsman tool sets are now turning Chinese -PICS-

Everyone wants to hate on Sears, but they held out as long as they could. I'm willing to bet they won't even be around in 10 years. Chinese made tools are the least of their problems. I hate to see another source of American tools snubbed out, but the reality is 99.9% of consumers do not care...

    Kobalt 3/8 Flex head ratchet

Check out the lawn mower parts, automotive, and tool sections. They should be on a hanger near the end of the aisle, not a separate display. I'm working at Lowe's as a summer temp and our store has them with the lawn mower stuff, while our other store has them hanging in the tool section...

Lowes - Kobalt spline socket set

Are the socket the same way? I've seen the "universal" SAE/metric wrenches but not the sockets. Full yellow tag generally means clearance/discontinued at Lowe's. That is probably the last one at that store...

    BladeHQ - Knife Sale

There's some good stuff there. I thought it would be 5 pages of CRKT, S&W, and other junk. I'm a true believer of Spyderco knives, specifically Enduras and Delicas. Maybe next time...

Ace Hardware $5.00 vice-grips are back

I cleaned out my local Ace, scoring the one pair of straight jaws they had. :lol_hitti: Don't have much use for the small ones, so I'm happy with the one I was able to get. All of their Cman was NOS USA stuff, too bad they don't go on sale. I'd buy a set of USA thin profiles for the heck of it.
