This type of ratcheting wrench is the only kind I've seen break from normal use. I think this is an older ratchet design, the Kobalt wrenches used to look like this. Now they look like gearwrench style wrenches.

I don't think any cable cutters will cut steel? I haven't seen any that will. :dunno:

All the tools I used were U.S. made. KD and Excelite mostly.

I did as well. The metrics have gone on sale a few times, never the SAE wrenches. I don't even need SAE stubbies but I feel incomplete without them.

$13.48 here. If they drop to $10 I'll buy another. Or two.

These things still aren't moving at my store, even for $12. Get them while you can, I don't think they'll take a hit on something like this again.

I have a Kobalt 1/2" and a bunch of HF torque wrenches, to me the Kobalt is much nicer and locks more securely than the HF models.

I bought a Craftsman kit when I finally got around to buying my big boy toolbox. The rest filled out nicely with stuff I had accumulated in smaller boxes over the years. Before I was "into" tools I'd buy whatever I needed for a particular job. Thanks to the hot deals section I'm almost ready...

I bought the Rigid 18V X4 kit on sale for around $150 around xmas time. It came with the impact driver, drill, two batts, case. It makes tire rotations go a lot faster. Mine won't take lug nuts off, but once you break them with a bar, it makes the job go much faster. What I really like is that...

Because railfan =/= good worker. In fact, it's usually the opposite. Railfans treat the job as a hobby rather than a real job and they usually burn out quickly. Working for a RR is a lifestyle.

Well I have some bad news: It says right in the listing minimum of two years experience. BTW, the industry does not like railfans. Don't ever let them know you're a foamer.
