    Check with the local landscape companies. Their chemicals come in some really nice containers that are usually thrown in the dumpster when they are empty.

    I have an I-beam over each bay with a 500lb capacity hoist on a trolly. My garage is a metal building with 2 1/2" tube welded trusses. I welded the I-beams right to the bottom of the trusses. At my age (72) I don't lift much of anything. I can't imagine not having these tools. You will never...

    I've done pretty much the same. Only spanned 4 trusses. Lifted engines and transmissions. Never had a problem. Trusses are a lot stronger than most people think. Just don't stand under whatever you're hanging.

    Ideas on how to lower ceiling in pole barn

    I did 2x4 grid also. Quick and easy. Full access to everything above it. I cut 2" ridged foam for the for the ceiling panels. It had a white plastic finish on one side and foil on the other. It gave me a finished ceiling look and insulated.

    What do you use to remove tree sap from auto paint?

    Lots of pine trees around my place. Removing pine sap is a regular occurrence. I've always used mineral spirits. Quick, easy, no problems with paint.
