I find myself using pledge more and more every year for lubricating, cleaning and polishing. I work in a hospital, and as soon as you spray something industrial smelling, the whole unit freaks out. Pledge or something similar is my weapon of choice sometimes.

If you can, stay away from the big box stores. If you buy from somewhere that can service it you will be better off. Finding parts for the big box store buys can sometimes be difficult. I'm thinking Toro.

The shutoff valve is an older one 40+years. I have had good results with wd 40 in the past ....but, is there a better solution. I have penetrating oil and some silicone lube. What would be the better choice. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

We have something similar on our house. They were originally connected to the municipal sewers, and had to be disconnected because the sewers could not handle the large amount of water from everybody's house.

I will be replacing the paddles on a Toro CR20e this weekend. Anybody got any input for this task? I sprayed the nuts and bolts 2X this week with PB Blaster. Im hoping it is a straight forward task. Thanks for any input.

The house is around 60 yrs old. The breaker box was upgraded, (i assume from fuses), and the outlets appear to be original. Two of the dead outlets are in basement close to each other and the other is in kitchen on main floor. The breakers are in the basement. I will check the wires, starting...

So 3 outlets no longer have juice. I don't know which breaker they are on, so I re-set all of them twice. Still nothing. What could have gone wrong? I left a radio turned on and plugged into one of the outlets in case the power mysteriously comes back. Thanks for any advice.
