    Anti-seize.

    Tip for for silver anti seize, Teflon pipe dope, and etc. To thin dried up containers, add virgin olive oil. Figured it out 40+ years ago by reading MSDS sheets. Works and won’t dry up.

    Steel air tanks on heavy duty trucks have been lined since the early seventies. I’m betting the railroad has something similar. Never figured out why all air tanks weren’t lined. Cost I suppose.

    I use air at our cabin. Cabin is inaccessible 6 mos of year. 10‘+ snow Here’s what I do. have valve and hose bib in bottom of well pit. Hook air to hose bib. Drain hot water heater first. Blow down 5-6 times at 50-60 lbs. anti freeze traps, toilets, and washing machine.
