I added heat to my parts washer with an element and temp controller I built. Water and stuff like Simple Green work great when heated. Disposal is easy, pump life is good, and it's safe.

I modified mine with a bucket heater controlled by a heater controller, contactor, thermcouple circuit. I set it to 110* and use simple green. Heat and simple green do just as good as any petro solvent.

I have mine on socket rails, and I stand the rails on edge. They don't take up much drawer space. No need to remove a bunch to get to the size you need.

Whatever you get, consider one you can get extra mount clamps for down the road. I got a couple extra pairs for mine and use it for my chop saw, framing miter saw, and trim miter saw I even thought of getting another pair to mount to some plywood for a portable bench top.

The only ones I've seen were the O ratchet sets. I have one of those in a drawer somewhere. I think the hex would be more problematic.

I bought the same Dremel brand collet. All the Dremel stuff is direct fit, including the cable shaft.

Thanks for the offer Dave, but I just peeled the offending chrome off and put them to work quite a while ago. I went over them pretty good after getting cut though just to make sure it wouldn't happen again. It wasn't worth the hassle, but it's good to know you'd stand behind them.

Corded tools are good for lending out, that's about it.

Snap on is quite safe from the competition. I bought the Tekton sets and the first time I handled them I got a nice deep cut from the chrome plating.

I added a heater to my HF washer and it's pretty good with water based degreaser or even just simple green. I had other cheap parts washers that didn't last long with harsher solvents, but the water based cleaners seem to let the pump live. Unfortunately, without some heat, those cleaners...

I have that set. It came from the DeVilbiss class action lawsuit a few years back. They over-rated a bunch of compressors in their advertising, and if you joined the suit, you got a bunch of junk, those included. I'm still working on the 10 rolls of teflon tape. Never did use the sockets. I...
