Paint turned out decent

Hey guys!! Been a minute since I have been here. Finished the shop.. Finished the paint job... Sold the house and moved into town. I'm just about to finish up a wood framed shop at our house in the historic district of our town. Had to shingle and side it like the house. Got about 4 times more...

I'll be sure to post up some pics when the engine swap begins... We'll also be starting on the work bench soon!

Thanks! I don't know the numbers off the top of my head on the cam. It's a full roller. The engine came out of my father-in-law's Henry J drag car. (pictured below) He pulled it in favor of a hotter 502.

Hey brother, I'm glad to! My 57 was originally built by my dad and I (mostly Dad) when I was a young teenager. It's gone through a couple of engine swaps over the years and getting ready for another. I have drag raced it off and on for years. Although it is a street car too, I have fun with it...

Took about an hour and a half to get it down and loaded but she's all mine! now to get it stood up and operational!

Hey Flat! Great job! I'm guessing you are somewhat of a neighbor of mine. I built my shop mostly from decommissioned poultry house material. My wife insisted on new metal for the exterior but the rest of it is all CL finds! Glad to see your project coming along and looking forward to seeing it...

Hey Terrick! My oldest son is getting married in a month so things in the shop have slowed way down this winter. I'm looking forward to getting some things done right after the wedding. Work bench, lift, wall sheeting. I'll be posting updates!

Scored a deal on this lift at a local auto shop wanting to upgrade to a heavier lift. it's a 7,000 lb challenger. We'll be installing in March!

Actually, He needs to keep it for a few more weeks until his new lift comes in. When his new one comes in my son and I will help him take it down and load it on my trailer. the guy says he has the equipment to get it loaded.

Well like I reported yesterday, the Rotary sold before I could get to it. I went to look at the Challenger last night as soon as I got off work and ended up buying it. It's coming from a small repair shop that needs a bigger lift to service diesel trucks. It's been in service 15 years and used...

I was headed there right after work but someone beat me to it.

Got a text before I got off work yesterday that the Rotary had sold. Going to look at the 7,000 lb Challenger today right after work. Wish me luck!

I haven't posted pics of either. I have seen pics of the Rotary, it looks decent. I have not seen pics of the Challenger. I am going to look at both tomorrow afternoon.
