I picked me up a 20 ton press from harbor freight finally. First use is for a transmission rebuild. I quickly found out that I need the base opening wider...it current measures four inches and I need about six to get gears inbetween. I have not been so lucky searching for ideas on widening...

The car will be on the lift. I wanted to support the engine and k member on something and just raise the car.

Wanting to do some rear end work on my mustang and possible drop the engin with k member attached vs pulling it from the top. My question is what has anyone done to support these things when the car is on the lift? I was looking at the hydralic lift tables from hf, but was curious what others...

Downside is you have to be pretty careful of reflections...but it is a pretty cool light show with some smoke in there.

I was considering that, but I think the line down the center on the hood will be more helpful for some. I am reading that it might just take some kind of cylinder at the lens to turn it into a line...no idea.

So I am having some problems when trying to guide people where to park in between my lift posts. I wanted to get this, but I want it to display a line instead of a dot. Might anyone have some suggestions how to accomplish this?
