AirCat 1055-TH Not Working - Just Exhausting Air

Mine does the same. I still love it though. Thought i read where over oiling will cause this. I over oiled mine by mistake when I first got it. Hopefully, someone knowledgeable will check in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sears Rebuild of Chinese Craftsman Gone Wrong

I have a 60t and it has served me well for years. It’s very strong. My only complaint is with an extension or universal, anything that adds play, it can be hard to engage the next tooth when you have very limited room. I’d drop into the store and talk with the repair folks. See what they have...

Good and bad online tool stores

Placed several orders with these folks last Fall. Emails were answered quickly. One order had an out of stock item. They shipped what was in stock, and didn’t charge my card for what was out of stock until it shipped. Sale prices were great. I will use them again. https://www.acmetools.com...

    Air Compressor Questions

Yes, because the impact doesn’t run continuously for the 5 minutes it would take to drain the tank far enough for the motor to start. The continuous cfm is with the compressor running, and keeping the pressure above 90 without draining the tank. I wasn’t clear about cfm when I bought it, but I...

    Air Compressor Questions

I bought the Kobalt 30gal a few months ago and I love it. It is quiet, has no problems on 120v/15A, and runs all of my tools. I should have pulled the trigger years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How to lift a car with bolts in subframe

Hockey pucks. We have a used sporting goods store in town where they are $1 apiece. Even new, they are not expensive. Maybe you could drill a hole to accept the bolts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Recommend an Upright Air Compressor for garage

Just bought the latest version of the Kobalt 30 gallon and I love it. It’s a 2 stage with 175psi max. It is quiet and runs well on 120v, 15 amp. It has no problems running my Aircat 1/2 impact plus a few other cheapo tools. Also, they put a ball valve on the drain. It’s still on the bottom, but...

Just picked up my 1st compressor. Question about CFM and Aircat impacts

I just picked up the 30 gallon, 2 stage Kobalt compressor. It is rated at 5.3 CFM @ 90psi. I was thinking about getting an Aircat 1055-th but the specs on it call for 6 CFM. If I ran one with my compressor, would the power be down at the tool, or would the pump just cycle more often? Thanks...

    Vice picture...what is missing?

Can someone tell me what is missing from this Craftsman vice? When you loosen the handle, the jaws do not move. I feel like there should be something on the screw, maybe held in place with a snap ring. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, John

    Diy brake pressure bleeder.

I must have misread the OP. I agree with the other foks, I wouldn't reverse bleed it. It's too easy to do from the top (which I also believe is the correct direction)

    Diy brake pressure bleeder.

i went through this last year. I assembled all the parts to make my own, a really nice one. In the end, it would have been cheaper (considering gas and time involved) to just by the Motive bleeder. One thing to consider, how are you going to thoroughly clean the old fluid out when you are...

    Best Hand Cleaner

Hmmm, I've used both with great success. I think it is a must to use them without water. Once you wet your hands all bets are off. I usually put one or two pumps on my hand and really start to work it it. I use a small plastic brush under my nails and on the big creases in my hands. I just keep...
