Drywall in the shop; Pros and Cons

If you're going to park, get out and admire your drywall and go in the house it's ok. But if you plan on working in your garage and getting pissed off when things don't go right (I have not done these things) and throw stuff around then you will appreciate OSB or plywood. Good luck with the...

New garage I need help !!

Put a double walk in door in mine, wide enough to get lawn tractor and snowblower through so I don't have to move any vehicles out or open the big doors. Bigger is always better and yeah when you get it all done you'll think of something else you wish you'd done.

Power steering gearbox input shaft seal fix.

I have a 1990 Ford F150 and the input shaft seal was leaking on the gearbox. Spent a little time searching the inter-web for info and the post's I found suggested the removal of the gearbox to replace the seal. Well I didn't really want to do that so I removed the air filter housing and the air...

Should I insulate my new garage?

I used OSB in mine (gasp)..if you don't use your garage like a garage drywall is fine. Go ahead and insulate it makes such a huge difference even if it isn't heated or cooled.

    Dumpster tools.

Some years ago I was at the county transfer station where my cousin works. Inside a dumpster was a small roll away tool box full of tools and he said if I could get it out it was mine. SK,Snap ON and Vice Grip pliers plus numerous other quality tools. This was forgotten till this summer when I...

Let's see your genuine Petersen Vise Grips

I love Vice Grips...you can do anything with them. I have no idea how many are above the workbench,in various toolboxes, drawers in the house, toolbox in the truck etc. but my guess would be 45 to 50. My old Ford truck a 1990 F-150 the key switch took a **** and no easy repair and called all the...

    Another heater size recomendation

Most parts available online at Menards and other places I'm sure. Before you take the heater home from the store or if they have a display model check to see which adapter to use with your heater if you're venting with cat 111 stainless. I brought 4 home and had to take the rest back...no big...

Exactly what Alan said..lol I had to read the istructions more than once. My 75k is set up just like Alan's and there are no problems with condensation and it is amazingly quiet.
