    70's Dodge truck parts?

Try here as well: http://ramchargercentral.com/ The Ramcharger started in 74 and shares most things. Lots of good tech there too. Too bad you don't need glass. I still have the rear (and side windows) of my 74 Ramcharger's removable hardtop.

    Gun tools

I had been looking at an older 1911 that had been parkerized, but was left with the impression (in that case) that it was like an old car with an Maaco paint job. Would like to find a nice older Colt at some point. Thanks for the tool input guys.

    Gun tools

So I broke down and did something I really wanted -- I bought a new gun! Some freelance work came in, paid off some bills and decided to treat myself to a Sig Sauer P220r 45acp. Now the tool question. I know Sig offers an "armorer's kit" featuring a small array of proprietary tools, but are...

Killer ebay deal on Snap on 3/8 drive handles

Received my two today. They look nice, but the seller didn't combine shipping charges as he said he would. So it looks like I paid $10 shipping costs and the shipping label on the envelope said $2.24. So he made a bit more off me. A little shifty, IMHO, but oh well.

Killer ebay deal on Snap on 3/8 drive handles

Seemed too good to pass up; I bought two. Kind of curious as to how he came to have 221 of them, though.

A Tool I Hate More Than a RoboGrip

I got one of those as a gift ages ago. Have never used it. As far as using it in tight places where you can't work the handle, good luck because the head is huge.

    danaher made in taiwan

Don't get me wrong, I like the Gearwrench line and they have other items I'm looking at down the road. It's a bit irrational, I know, but seeing the China instead of Taiwan still made me think, "Aw man..." :spit: I agree, there does seem to be a slight quality difference; my stubbys have some...

    danaher made in taiwan

I don't know why I assumed that all gearwrench was made in Taiwan, I checked the stubby wrenches I had and they were PRC. Have to check a little closer next time, I suppose.

    Snap On event

Swung by there today. Hardly anyone there. The SO harley and Chevy Nomad were interesting builds, though.

Wren Hand Tools News - Toptul

I had a PO guy give me some crab about tape once, then out of the blue he handed me a big roll of the USPS packing tape. He just said "use this, it's free." Hey, it also meant I didn't have to go buy more packing tape, as I was out anyway. As far as the boxes go, I always grab extra. Use...

    most useless tool

I don't know what it's official name is, but I received this huge "ratchet" with a red-tipped t-handle at the top. Supposedly it's so you can tighten the socket at a 90-degree angle in a place where you couldn't turn a socket or wrench? But the thing is so F'n big and pointless that I can't...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

I think you did a great job. I would love to be able to find a place like that and be able to do half as nice a job. Just looks like a great place to be overall.

    40" intermediate chest?

Homak make some that seem reasonable, but not sure if they have the size you need. I've seen regular ones at Amazon and Summit Racing. I was looking at these, because I've got some old 18-gauge Homak chests from long ago that have held up well, but unless I've missed something I can't find...

Anyone have a Bicycle garage or shop?

Used to; former USCF certified mechanic and bike shop guy here. I miss my old digs; all the neighbors would roll by and have a few beers while we dug into whatever project was going on, particularly when I had an old Schwinn resto on the stand.
