    Gun Oil

Slip 2k has a far wider range than any of us are likely to ever see, it's used by all the guys I know from the one's that shoot thousands of rounds per month, to supervising tens of thousands of rounds per class, to armorers for .mil & fed LEO agencies. It's inexpensive and easy to find. For...

I'm a little late but I had a tap & die assortment show up monday. A guy online came into a load whose provenance was probably a dude that bought out a hardware store that was closing. There was a plurality of NOS Vermont American taps, dies & assorted accoutrements and he put together about a...

I know Ford used them for some stuff with the headlights and mirrors. It's been 20+ years now though so I don't recall exactly what, I just know I have a little set of them from the SnapOn dude.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

It works! It probably hadn't left the box in forever because the negative wire just fell off the battery pack today so it was was probably only hanging on by a hair. I hooked it up to the car battery and it turned on and everything works FM, AM, FM ATC, tone, the dials and gauges, everything! I...

Ever do something so stupid you wonder if you should be left unsupervised?

I was supposed to go over to a buddy's house one day, planned around noonish or so so that we'd both be awake, dressed and all that nonsense. Well about 9:30 I'm awoken by the phone ringing, it's my buddy calling. I answer and ask what's up, he says nothing but was just wondering if I could head...

    Biggest 1/4in drive socket?

Generally once a fastener got to 1/2" I usually grabbed a 3/8 ratchet. I did however get a shallow 9/16" 1/4" drive from the Mac dude. I had a pair of bolts I had to cinch down behind a bumper cover that I couldn't get a socket on from beneath so I'd slip the socket up top, stick a 1/4"...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Well at this point it was last week but I finally got around to hauling the workbench I made out to the barn and got it secured to the base. I'd attach a picture but apparently it's too big. And hey I tried adding it again and it's not too big anymore. :dunno: Whatever, I also filled up the barn...

Bent handle non flex-head ratchet.....this does exist right?

I have no idea what the purpose of this is. They make them so someone must use them. Any ideas? Hell yeah, I always knew that as a spark plug ratchet. Initially I kinda blew them off as it always looked unwieldy. However The SO dude came by with a deal with a Tshirt when they first came out...

    Reccomended purchases

This I have NO clue Buuut, this I'm reasonably sure means the 3m scotchbrite roloc discs. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000B8UPLU/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I used the bristle discs more than the scotchbrites myself but to each their own and scotchbrites I am sure are better for some uses...

And unless I'm mistaken Genius tools are Canadian so availability should be good. Otherwise if you've got money to burn I'd say SnapOn dual 80's while if you're looking to keep costs down I'd say Tekton. If I were starting over again I'd own a LOT more Tekton. I got a 90t 1/4" and the action is...
