Take a look at item 25, it may be essential for low speed operation
All of my wet/dry vacuums use similar connections, with the same style of adapter, and they work fine. The ends have a taper which make for a snug fit.

***UPDATE***
I installed the Eero system today, and so far (compared to the old Nest system) the performance is nothing short of spectacular.
Let's see how it does over the next two weeks.
Interesting to note that I'm getting the same coverage - or better - than my old Nest five-node system...
I'm eliminating the Unifi because, although it appears to be a great system with infinite options, I'm past my geek-out days with Internet devices. I'm more of a plug-and-play guy now; I'd rather spend hours in the garage with my cars, rather than fiddling with my tech devices.

I'm fed up with my three-year-old Google Nest AC2200 Wifi mesh system. I have four nodes spread throughout the house, and one or more of them will drop out for a few minutes, or a few hours, on a daily basis. I'm convinced that it has something to do with flawed hardware/software...

All tools get put away every night, whenever possible. Period. Fasteners/hardware/parts labelled and/or bagged at work area.
Admittedly I am retired and usually have the luxury of time.
