    Vintage Ideal pliers, miniature

Found this pair of pliers in my deceased father's tool box. The pliers are lying on a standard size business card. Pliers are 2 3/4" in length. Marked Ideal. Any idea what the heck this is? Toy pliers? Marketing?

    EpoxyMaster, aka Costco brand

Here is an update. It is holding up well, still looks good and I am well pleased. Excuse the messy shop. Work has been a nightmare and I have not spent a lot of time inside lately. The marks on the floor are where I pulled a wet car inside to dry and wax several weeks ago. A simple mop job...

Thank you and your family for your service. It is not easy on either one of them.

    EpoxyMaster, aka Costco brand

I have only seen it online. Delivery was quick. Update. I will post some pictures a little later. Floor is holding up fine. No problems even after dropping losts of stuff on it and spilling fluids. Only thing I have noticed is the apron outside of the garage door has yellowed, as I...

    EpoxyMaster, aka Costco brand

Welcome Sikorsky. So far mine is holding up well. I have not noticed any chips, it cleans up easy and still looks good. I have noticed some yellowing on the apron just outside the garage doors. I expected that with the exposure to UV but other than that it is great. Check and see if your...

    Cordless Drop Light

FWIW, I have the Sams Club cordless http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=362418 and a Bayco retractable corded LED light. I like the cordless but the lighting is not as good as a flourescent. The magnet base works fairly well but the overall length makes it difficult to...

    i am wondering...

Yes!! I dated one for a long time and if things had been slightly different, I might have been married to her. Instead, I have been married to my wife for over 30 years. The old girlfriend is still a close friend however. Deafautotech, All you need to do is expand your opportunities to meet...

    2post lift with low vehicles??

Don't know how low your car is but mine is 5" from the ground to the rockers and I am able to get my lift pads under it w/o any problem. Friends have cars that are lower and they drive onto 2/8 pads then move the lift arms. Like the others have asked, what kind of car/manufacturer.

So far, no lifting or anything. I have not observed any bubbling and I have hit it with all of your listed solvents. I get messy sometimes. :yikes: Haven't welded on it, but then again I need to learn to weld :) It has what I would call a "soft" feel but not like a rubberized coating. You...

Then don't. Thanks, I will inform the board If I discover any problems. I started to let this slide but I quess I haven't mellowed enough with age. :dunno: Not letting a vapor or liquid pass through the "epoxy" is the EXACT reason for using epoxy. If the coating will let a vapor pass through...

    25'x32' Detached Garage - 2 post lift

Good luck with your build. I recognize your "handle" from the hsv board :) I'm not too far away from your place.

What's the outside of your garage look like?

Might as well add one of mine now that it is mostly done. The second photo is just before moving back in after doing the epoxy on the floor.

    EpoxyMaster, aka Costco brand

Thanks, I picked up the Sun machine last week for not much $$$. I figured I could put it to use since I have an "old school" race car. If you look closely you will see the "school bus" theme. Octagan stop sign number panel, recess on the rear quarters and here is my favorite one (same car...

    EpoxyMaster, aka Costco brand

Same here. I have seen a water based H & C epoxy in stock at the local Costco. Epoxymaster is a 100% solids epoxy and has virtually no odor. The Squeegee part is really pretty easy since you are pouring the product on the floor. It is also a notched squeegee that helps distribute the...

I waited almost 36 hours before moving back in. I did put the car on the lift as soon as I pulled in. I would have waited longer, per the instructions, before using for regular parking. Here is what it looks like now.

I would say the coverage is pretty close to dead on. I have crack relief saw cuts that give me 4 12 'x16' sections. One kit covered half of the shop with about a 24 sq ft over lap on to the other side. I left about 1/4 of the second kit in the bucket on the intial pour out on to the floor and...

    EpoxyMaster, aka Costco brand

It seems EpoxyGuard did a shuffle and spun off another company named EpoxyMaster but with similar contact information. Same city, similar websites, etc. etc. Doesn't matter to me, just another data point as this is the epoxy I got from Costco. FWIW, I followed the directions included in the...

    Score! Sun Machine

I will pick this up in the next day or so. Picked it up from another local "carguy" for not a lot of $$$. Forgot to ask if anybody has a timing light attachment for this machine? Everything on it works, new CRT and several attachments. The only one he didn't have was the timing light.
