This box is solid as a rock. I guess some people can justify spending 10x as much on a Snap-On box but I'm not one of them.

I wound up getting a few of these rubber mats from Lowe's and trimming them to fit. Works well so far.

Here it is with the clear. Some imperfections/irregularities in the concrete itself, but all in all I'm happy with the results.

First steps done. Arizona Polymers E400 with a heavy flake. Turns out there was a scratchcoat on the floor from some previous repairs (house is ~28 years old and we've owned it for about 4). Diamond grind went really quickly as a result. Guy says everything is fine. Clear coat tomorrow...

I am getting the garage epoxied. However I have a Kwiklift (most of you probably know what this is) and don't want to set it directly on the floor because I'm concerned that it'll gouge or scratch the epoxy. What do you think about using Garagedeck under the feet of the Kwiklift? My thought...

I chose Austin Epoxy Floors to do the work. They use Arizona Epoxy products. Weather permitting, we'll do this Wed-Fri next week. This will be a diamond grind, base coat, flake to rejection, clearcoat. Color should match the existing wall color pretty well: "Before" pic:

Actually maybe something like racedeck would work well. And it'll give me an excuse to order some to try it out. There we go. Now who'll sell me <30 s.f. of racedeck...

Looking for some rubber flooring for the inside of the box on my open race trailer. It's probably 6-7' wide and 3' deep. Would prefer something heavy enough to lay in place without needing to be glued or bolted down. Purpose is to provide slight cushioning for stuff that winds up in there...
