Harbor Freight Drills- Drillmaster or Chicago Electric?

FYI - Locally, the Interstate Battery store will rebuild rechargeable batteries (except for some reason Craftsman). I'm very happy with the 2 I've had done.

Kobalt 60 Gal oil -lube air comp - $299 @ Lowes

I've had mine since Veterans Day. I got 10% off the $399. But I'm gonna stop in & see if its not too late to get the discounted price. BTW - On mine, the On/Off lever switch is bass-akwards. On is OFF and OFF is ON  And someone asked about power. It only requires a 15 Amp...

Rigid 24 Volt LITHIUM Combo Kit for $357

Just bought one at HD. Very nice. PS... you have to register for the warranty. It's kind of a PITA, but I sent my stuff in anyway. Resurrecting this as I am in need of a new drill and this seems like a good package. Are you still happy with this kit? The local store still has a set on...

    Air Line Hoses

Is there a significant quality/durability difference between rubber & vinyl air line? My rubber lines are at least 10 years old and except for some bulging at the connectors, they seem to be in good shape. But I want to replace them before one bursts at the wrong moment. Any suggestions?

    Sealers and curing agents.

Given enough effort just about anything used in a home environment can probably be removed. The builder probably used a relatively inexpensive sealer compared to ultra tough industrial sealers. No personnal experience but sanding & shot peening both seem to be recommended here. If you...

Opinions Requested on Rustoleum EPOXYShield Garage Floor Coating

    1. Did your slab have a sealer on it before you started with the etching process? No sealer on my slab. What I've read here, at Rustoleum & other web sites is that the sealer must come off. What manufacturer's etching product did you use on your floor? I used the citric acid etch...

Opinions Requested on Rustoleum EPOXYShield Garage Floor Coating

I used the Rustoleum Professional on the garage floor about a month ago. Lowes had it in a kit. 1.25 gallons of color & 1.25 gallons of hardner, a pack of color flakes, 2 small packets of citric floor etch, a roller screen & it all came in a 5 gallon bucket. I used 2 kits on my 875 sq ft...

Getting ready to redo the floor.

Rustoleum makes a clear 2 part clear epoxy which might work for you. I bought 2 kits at Lowes. I have never found it at their online site, but they did have it in our local store, still do. I just put it on, over their gray epoxy, 10 days ago, and so far it seems plenty tough. I used 2...

    Garage Cabinets

Does anyone have links to D-I-Y garage cabinet buildups? Its time to square away my storage issues and prefer to build cabinets myself. I need detailed instructions that I can adapt to my situation. Can anyone help out? Thanx.

    looking for a clear sealer

Check out Rustoleums clear for the garage. Its a clear gloss epoxy that resists staining. I found it at Lowes. I believe cost was about $100 to cover 300-500 sq ft. Most of the sealers I looked at didn't say anything about resisting grease & oil stains. The penetrating sealers were...

    Conc Floor Etching Question...

Call the Rustoleum HELP line. The tech was very helpful to me, and he probably has dealt with your problem before. You may save yourself a lot of unnecessary work. I'd bet that the concrete is relatively new & its reinforced with fiberglas.

Ready to Prep for Rustoleum Epoxyshield

I bought 2 of these Rustoleum Professional Kits from Lowes: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=173926-90-224148 They include Anhydrous Citric Etching Crystals. If you go this route, the directions say to wet the floor then sweep off excess water before...
