The metal handle is made in USA, if you scroll down on the Amazon link for the plastic handle it says COO is China.

Another USA made option is Elzetta, I have a few. But they are not a cheap alternative.

I did the CL oven thing, $40 IIRC. The only thing was I had to put a 240 outlet in the garage. Not a big deal, just something to consider.

Same here, I usually go for a T Handle for that type of stuff.

I have been thinking about this set, it is a heck of a deal, but I don't have anyone to split it with. I think I'm going to get a set, if anyone in the Northern VA area wants to split it, PM me. If not, I guess I'll have two sets, no biggie.

I'm going to jump on the Knipex bandwagon, I have the Cobras and snap ring pliers, both great. As someone else mentioned, I probably would not have forked over the $$, but based on recommendations here, I'm hooked, and worth every penny.

I'd be in for another set. Got the 44150 (fractional 29 piece set) last time. I have only had a chance to use them a few times, but they go through mild steel like butter. I was impressed.
