QuickJack - for those of you wondering

A friend of mine was holding out for them and called to “check in” on their progress a few times over the last year. BP’s reply started promising but as of recent they turned toward their current model offerings are here to stay. FWIW...

2 post - Symmetric or Asymmetic?

I went with the Bendpak XPR-10AS-LP and has been perfect for me. Have to drive the Z06 on 1/4 boards but then plenty of space for the arms. The LP arms also worked fine for my Expedition (non EL). Good point they should call that out in documentation though.

2 post - Symmetric or Asymmetic?

Old thread but I wanted to say thank you for all the great information! A friend is trying to convince me in to the Atlas PV-10 but I'm concerned of loading my Z06 on it, being so low. For a while I have had my eyes on the Bendpak XPR-10AS and not reading about the low profile benefits detailed...

QuickJack - for those of you wondering

I have the truck adapters and had a similar situation to the “stacking” scenario described here. (Thankfully had jack stands in place!) Love the QJ when using a single rubber block but I’m having major doubts beyond that.

QuickJack - for those of you wondering

Closet thing I could find is https://www.harborfreight.com/steel-floor-jack-cross-beam-60762.html but I don't see how that would help with the QuickJack.

I am also interested in feedback. One of my cars would be much safer on the QuickJack with the crossbeam adapter. The price seems a bit much considering the relative cost of the lift in total.

3 Car Garage - Lift Type & Placement

Albeit old... But to round out this thread, I ended up going with a QuickJack BL-5000XL. (First generation prior to BL-5000SLX now offered)

    Y2KFirehawk's Bald Eagle Nest

As you'll see peeking in to the grading plan, I'm required to do some water handling on-site. Long story short, PA laws changed for impervious surface allowances since our house was built in 2007. With just the house today, the allowed % is more than you're allowed. So expanding the driveway and...

TL;DR: Building a 26'x28' detached two-car scissor truss lift-friendly garage in addition to three-car attached garage. America! Long-time reader and car enthusiast, like most. Our residence today has a three-car attached garage, which does well for storing cars but lacks he space for projects...

    Detached Two Car 100A Service

Right on. Great information. Thank you! Haha! Your avatar pic and username keyed me in to a fellow F-body owner. Any time it is in the garage, I will throw on the maintainer. The Firehawk comes out for nice day cruising and car shows on the East cost.

    Detached Two Car 100A Service

Solid thought and I totally agree about running conduit. I should have noted that this two-car will be adjacent to the attached three-car. (which has easy access the existing main panel) The unfortunate fact in building this two-car detached is I know that it will not add much (if any) monetary...

    Detached Two Car 100A Service

Thanks for the quick replies! In doing two 200A panels... It is my understanding that if they are both 200A mains and bonded at the meter lugs that the meter then needs to be upgraded to 400 (320). Is that not true? I'm definitely going to find out our average amp load. Another option I have...
