10x16 shed question

This shed is not for great weight bearing. Just storing tools, generators, power washer and saws and some space for a small bench and work area. I'm using 2x8-10 footers and 2x8-16 footers for the perimeter with 2x6-10 footers at 16" on center for the joists. Putting perimeter up on deck blocks at the corners and in the middle of the 16 footers. Floor will be 5/8" plywood. Do I need the official deck blocks or are plain solid 4x8x16 inch concrete blocks ok?

I think It’s the use of the term footers for what sounds like joists.. (rim joists, then common joists.. )

O geez! I used the word "footers" in place of "ft".
Can we continue? I guess my question is, do I need to use deck blocks with the slots that the 2x8s sit in or can set them on concrete 4"x8"x16" blocks. I assume the only difference is that a tornado force wind could slide the shed on the flat blocks.

Tuff Shed put my 8x12 on normal concrete blocks. Same for every shed I've built in the last 50+ years. Never had an issue. Probably a gazillion sheds out there built the same way.
