Can you post closeups of the Plvmb ratchet? Does it look modified/welded on on there handle?

Randomly stopped at a little garage sale over the weekend and landed a 1/2" drive SAE SK socket almost-set (missing one socket) w/breaker bar, a few loose SK wrenches, and a 3/8" SK ratchet. All that AND a bat house for a whopping $25 after a little negotiation. Not a "you ****" deal, but very fair IMHO.
River those are cool looking clamps! How big are they?
The clamps are just under 12" overall, and weigh approx 5 lbs each.
They are made by Jorgensen, and have a 6" max opening.
I have a sandblaster starting on a job tomorrow, and I'm thinking I'll have them blast off all the crappy paint then seal them with some Penetrol.
I'll post pics when they're done.

No yard sales for me this last weekend, I had my own, I rented the parking lot at a down town bike shop. We sold almost 1300.00 including 900.00 from my extra tools. It was crazy, People didn't buy the nice s&k socket sets, but ate up the junk tools at .50 each. I sold a roll around bottom box and a job box and my large organizer... Great sales...Rich
Picked up a Baldor 8" grinder today with Baldor stand today. He was advertising the grinder for $300 and a large vise with 8" jaws for $200. I asked for pictures of both, none on the Craigslist ad. The vise was 8" jaw width but it was a Chinese vise in poor condition, didn't even have jaw inserts. He sounded like he was desperate to sell the grinder so went to look at it today. Made a deal on it and bought some other stuff too.
Price? Make a guess LOL. Nine4GMC knows!

You stole it Bluebolt!! Send me some pics and measurements of the end caps, I may have a spare set.![]()
Here is the other stuff I picked up from the same guy when I got the Baldor for $75.
All this was $20 for a total of $120 for Sunday from this one guy.
Dayton cantilever toolbox $8
The top trays have lids with locking tabs that keep them closed. It measures 18w x 10.5d x 13h and is heavy when empty. I already straightened the bent guide that can be seen in the bottom right of the open box pictures. It shuts real nice now. Only a couple of minor dents and dings. Slight surface rust on the latches and bare spots. It will be my new box to carry tools I wish to trade.

Great stuff.Do you go to swap meets or the like alot? This just sounded funny to me.
No pics, but I picked up an SK 3767 which is the 1/4" flex head with 3/8" guts for $15 from a local pawn shop.
Got these krauter pliers. Any one know what they are for?
Great items.
Can you post a number or better pics of the pliers. I have a small kraeuter catalog
Is that half of a snap on test light?

It has been a while since I've had the time to hunt for new acquisitions, so I had some serious GAS build up. Over that last month or so I went on a bit of a binge and these are my finds:
1) Proto Body Tools
Found these at a great pawn shop while visiting my folks. Every time I go in there they have some awesome tools. This time I found this Proto hand box and the following mint condition body tools inside:
1509 hand file
1452 dolly
1453 dolly
1454 dolly
1421 body hammer
1424 body hammer
1426 body hammer
1427 body hammer
1428 body hammer
Shop was asking $120 including tax for everything, I walked the lot out the door for $80 cash.

3) Finally, who doesn't LOVE craigslist? We recently moved and I finally have a big garage to fill with tools and toys. I have a lot of hardware and various small car parts that I've been hauling around in greasy boxes and bags with holes in them for the last few years. Enough!!! Found these vintage Equipto 18 drawer cabinets 10 minutes from the house. Both are in excellent condition - these hold a surprising amount of stuff btw. I paid a little more for these at $75 each, but the seller was moving and threw in a gently used Craftsman chainsaw for another $20:

And then the Equipto find
Well done!
