Cruised past an estate sale sign this morning. I head in with my almost two year old boy and witness a man holding a pair of wooden boxes and asked how much. The guy said $10. I had to find the tools.
I enter the basement and next to a beat chopsaw is a box bursting with machinist tools. I peak at a few to check condition and ask how much for the whole box.
Lots of Brown and Sharpe, James Motrola portable tach, Taft Pierce plate and square things, Gem Instrument MFG, Ametek mechanical force gage, DoAll optical flat.
All for $40. Now, how do I clean some of this stuff up?

My first!
Be sure to post up in my "show your wood" thread when you can. Maybe beatcad would be so kind as to share some knowledge over there on dating these things too?
