Local machine shop lost the lease on their overflow building. They were motivated to sell because anything left gets scrapped on Tuesday. My office closed early so I headed over and had about an hour to browse.
Owner gave me a tour of the facility and let me dig around in the building. His dad started the business in the 60s. I'm heading back Friday to take another look while they pull things off the shelf.
By the time I got home it was dark but I got a photo at the Wegmans parking lot which was well lit.
Then two Baldors for $50 each. Both 3/4 HP single phase on stands. 8". Grinder is a 8100WD and buffer is a 333B. Missing left nut and flanges.
Then I got a 9x9x1/2" 13lb piece of 17-4 stainless and 6x6x1/2" 5 lb piece of copper. $5 and $10
Lufkin 4" square $5
And if you looked closely in the truck you'll see my $40 Wilton C1. My first bullet vise. I'm going to clean it up but leave it unpainted.
Matt You totally sucked on those deals. The grinders

and the copper plate

. Then to add a 1950's Wilton C1, my favorite vintage, for 40 bucks!

... You frickin killed it!!!
