Rick, you didn't do badly at all! the things that stood out for me was the Hout box, (what else? I'll bet it weighs between 95-100 EMPTY) and the Masterench pipe wrench. those ere made with both pipe jaws like yours (serrated) and smooth for nuts and bolts. And they work great! he harder you pull the tighter they grip...

Is yours a Heller Brothers?

I left one back there today, a 15 or 16" pipe wrench. It was more than I was willing to lay out... (And I already have 2 14's, and several 8 and 10" smooth jaws. I'm wanting a 14-16" smooth...)

Woo hoo my NOS Kraeuter Dresser S-K era 3/8 metric socket set is here! I saw it on Ebay 3 weeks ago for $50 plus $16 shipping, then $35 plus $16 shipping and then just $38 with free shipping. There was now another bidder so it was get it or watch it go by by! I got it for $44 and am happy with it. Nothing like opening the shrink wrap on 40 year old virgin tools!

It was even in the original cardboard box and when I pulled off the shrink wrap I found a little orange safety tag in it too. This will be in the house tool display, eventually I want to make a Dresser era Kraeuter tool display board. They will be around the house light use tools, they still have to earn their keep!

Little Yost Vise -$7 (slow day out there,I was able to knock the guy down from 10)

I didn't total up the smalls yet, but let's see:

Maybe you guys can help me out with the odd pliers in the last pic. So far I know they are Chain Pliers and they say Japan.

Persistence pays off.... Finally found a (non-harborfreight) bench grinder on CL. Saw the ad for this tonight about 15 min after it was posted , called the guy and couldn't get out the door fast enough. $25

From Todays Estate Sale stop...All USA made...Mint Bonney T707, Single Handle Petersen No 10 Vise Grips, Craftsman #4306 -V- Ignition Set, Stanley hobby vise H1207, Craftsman -H- Long #46755 Metric Ball End Hex, and I love Klein reamers that are in the 2 dollar screwdriver pile. The Bonney ratchet was the find of my day, its mint condition and fine tooth.

Nice haul. I like that Bonney ratchet. And that little vise. (And everything else too). I just happened to buy a similar vise this a.m. (also a Stanley Handyman). I had never seen one before.

I'll have to get pics of my meager haul up tomorrow. A LOT of GREAT finds overall.

I'm still trying to figure that one out. It is threaded with what appears to be a metric thread, but the threads are flat tipped, so over-sized a bit (possibly on purpose if it threads onto a Pneumatic hammer...) I'm guessing it was part of a set for something.

Nice find(s), is it just my eye or is the Superratchet bent in the "tighten" direction? That's interesting, all of mine are bent in the "loosen" direction" . They are great ratchets though, I suspect mine had monster cheater bars on them to bend 'em.

I have one of those. That wrench is a type of flare nut wrench. It is designed to work without removing it from the fitting. In a sense, it "ratchets" the fitting, if you know what I mean. I think the mechanism was called "cam lock".

Nice grab on the Coleman lantern. I believe that is a 220D model. The month and year of manufacture should be stamped on the bottom of the fount. It likely is from the 1950s. If you plan on taking it camping, buy a replacement globe for it and put that away in a safe place. Those old Pyrex globes are worth more than the lantern itself! They usually bring around $30 or more.

Easily weighs that much, had to take the tools out of it before I bothered even trying to get it out of the back of the wagon

And that would be a 14" Heller Bro's... took me a few minutes to chip away at the tar on the back to see the name

It's an optical illusion. It is actually bent up like someone needed a flex-head. I was going to bend it back but now I think I'll leave it. Once I thought about it the previous owner must have done it intentionally.

One could probably resell the C-man box for $100 and have a free Kennedy. I've seen those Kennedy boxes go for $300 and up.

Thanks to Wrenchette--the guy was offshore since the ad went up, and I happened to hit him just as he got back to town. He might have seen the post, because the first thing he said when I got there was that Kennedy was not HF but he found out it was equivalent to Craftsman.

Couple drawers on the top box a bent a little on the handle, no big deal. Bottom box is missing the lower door, and the bottom drawer is bent on the right hand side near the handle, needs attention, but no rust, broken casters or anything. Maybe the handle has been replaced? There are what look like stock holes peeking out below the handle. Didn't see date stamps on either, but got photos of the production stickers.

Negative Crice, that's about a two hour(1way) drive from me and other than the block grinder, all the tools look 80's or newer. If it were 100 miles closer, I may consider it. If any you guys make it out there, take pics!!

One off my "Tool Bucket List" I have wanted a Baldor Buffer for years, now I have it 332B, the one you are saying what the hell is that is a home brewed wire wheel, sander, buffer with a Dayton 3/4 HP . Guy I was haggling with threw in a bucket of used wheels of varying types. I did not get the best price but I do not get the chance to buy buffers like some of you do. I'm happy and the seller is happy and he told me I was first on the list for the next round.
