I'm hesitant to post without pics but I assure you guys I'll get pics up tomorrow. After our little gathering last evening, I had a bit of trouble getting up at my usual 2:30 am so, I slept in, got the girls off to school, and hit the road picking. First stop was a former CL pick Beatcad and I hit in January. He had dug up some more stuff and I came away with some Blackhawk ratcheting combos for beat, along with some other BH smalls, tons of underline craftsman circle H sockets, and a few pieces of Proto and S-K miscellany. Next I hit a few out of town pawn shops and grabbed some Bonney wrenches and sockets, various Proto, S-K, Williams, and Wright sockets and wrenches, and 2 SO ratchets. Lastly, I hit a tool shop in that area. They had a lot of older stuff on display, then gave me access to their hoard in the back. Got about 125 or so sockets from BH, S-K Wayne, Proto, Challenger. Full sets of BH 3/8 drive deeps, BH 1/2 in drive shallows, S-K 1/2 in drive shallow, full set of Bonney 1/2 in drive triangle shallows, and S-K Wayne could be a set of 1/2 in drive shallow. Filled 3 vacancies on my 1/2 in Proto board. Also got a full set of Proto LA DOEs, and a full set of Challenger DOEs. Next are a couple Plomb pebble wrenches, 2 Proto LA pebbles, and a large transition year Plomb/Proto combo wrench I've been searching for forever! Also a few more odds and ends wrenches and a bunch of wobbles, extensions, et. And the coupe de gras, I finally found a 3/8 in drive Proto socket display! The trip cost me $250 + gas.
