As of just now I don't know anything about either of them.

Got this today from CL, $75.00
It's a Canedy-Otto drill press, not too bad of shape.
It took all I could do to get it out of the truck, once loaded, here at the barn.
It's going to need some care.

A few signs of g-sale life out there.
Stihl chainsaw was $20 and the big Arbor press was $15 and including the jug of tapping fluid along with a Lufkin machinist square and Starrett 24" machinist ruler:
Saw a CL ad for this baby and snapped it up. A Hitachi SB-75 belt sander with 8 Norton belts for $25. Bought it from a policeman who was selling it for his dad. A little tape on the cord but otherwise a great 2 spd belt sander at a super price.
This is my #1 tool for my vice restorations. The bag is important because i can attach my shop vac to where the bag belongs to minimize the metal filings.![]()
Weldor you ****!
MK3Mike, a little work and you will hopefully have a decent drill press.
So I went by what I call a "tool honey hole" here on Saturday. I love going there because the guys running the place will cut me deals and they don't value the tool truck/industrial brands over other crappy brands. I will post some pics as soon as I get them but I did get 3 RHFT ratchets one 3/8ths drive and two 1/2 drive, some proto and challenger tools for $30. Also met up and bought a sweet proto tool box off the c list for $25. I have been wanting one of these for a while now and finally got one. Only way it could be better was if it was plvmb. Pics to come...

[sniff]
I MISS HAVING ANY SALES TO GO TO !!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAArrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggg ![sniff]
allinc100, I don't know what you paid but you still ****!
Smokeshow, you **** for the $25 Proto box with tools to!
But I would have paid more for the Proto too!!I MISS HAVING ANY SALES TO GO TO !!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAArrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggg ![sniff]
. IIRC, in another thread Richard Cranium was looking to trade a Craftsman spinner ratchet for one of those if somebody found one. Thanks Nick! Any clue what size/brand lineman's? the ones I've tried so far all seen to be either too big or to small...
Not sure on the pliers, but the knife is a TL-29 that has a knife blade and a screwdriver blade. I have one made by Klein.
I found these today at local flea, while visiting in Statesboro, Ga
The wrench is 36 inches long 1 3/4 x 1 7/8, I hope there's a name on it, but being away from home, I'll have to wait to see.
The plate, yellow/black California was stamped 63 on the back, the sticker expired May of 1970, my understanding , these are hard to come by?
The Miller keg tap was just because I like draft beer, and not everyone has one!
Total $ 45.00
There were two garage sales in my area yesterday but it was so cold and nasty that turnout was low for both; bad news for the sellers but good news for me.
I picked up a 70s vintage Bushnell pocket spotting scope for $1.50, some hockey pucks (for compressor feet) for $.10 each, a car top carrier for $2.00 and an 80s vintage Craftsman "Sawmill" circular saw for $5.00. The saw is in great shape except for the fact that some knucklehead cut the cord and then fixed it with wire nuts, I'll fix it right before I use it. It's just a basic circular saw but I'm amazed at how sturdy it is. It'll go to my weekend cabin, I have a self-imposed rule about only leaving garage sale tools there so if/when it gets broken into I'm not out much. Pics in a bit.
