that set is about $2,200 off the truck I believe

Those star drills can be used in stone or concrete... A lot of work, but they DO work...

Swap meet today. Got this really nice Kennedy box with key for $18. It's missing the drawer cover thingy though?...
Everything else was $36 collectively. As you can see there's a little of everything. Most everything on the far right of the first picture is snap on. An interesting vlchek adjustable, very nice sk ratchet, 3 proto flex wrenches, and a LOT of old Husky USA stuff with the underlined logo - that's what all the sockets in the center are, plus the extensions, T-handle, breaker bar, and 1/2 speeder. I've been acquiring a lot of husky USA stuff lately for some reason.

All in all, I'd say I had a decent day.

$15 Craftsman compressor, 4 hoses and a dryer. It runs great and is VERY quiet. Probable the quietest compressor I have ever been around.

$20 Grizzly sharpener/grinder and small motor with no identification tag(guessing it came off of a mini lathe).

$40 Three motors(2 are 1.5 hp) and wilton turning tools.

$8 Checkered flag stool.

I have a fair collection of them, but like you say, they are alot of work. Worst case, they are good tool steel for lathe projects.

A couple of the communities around me had their annual garage sales this weekend. Didn't have a lot of time to look, but I was able to find one thing.

Not a bad deal for $200. all I saw initially was the job box, and I thought it would be a nice addition. I wasn't expecting it to be loaded with stuff. That is a brand new fluorescent light tester. I don't have a need for that, so I will be able to get some of my money back.

That's very nice, I can't recall seeing a factory red 520 before. I like that better than the standard brown. Good luck finding a red front cover. Maybe make one out of wood.

We all get bit sometimes, usually it costs me a lot more than $1.01.

I've ran into many NIB tape measures, flashlights, screwdrivers and my favorite the multimeters. Typically at those "seller" type sales. As soon as I see those, especially in multiples I stay on my toes as that to me is a red flag. I once watched a notorious flea market flipper buy a lot of them at a garage sale for $5 each. Laughed to myself stupid me I almost stopped him.

Rain here this weekend as well Outlaw. They were talking about N Louisiana getting tornado weather too so Bluebolt, be safe if it hasn't changed!

Only one sale planned in the morning and tbh, I would not even be waking up for it but we gotta take the daughter to work early and supposed to look at an above ground pool afterwards. Fingers crossed I will be floating, beer in hand next weekend!

Idk how bluebolt made out with the weather but we got hammered today!! No electricity and limbs/**** everywhere!!

i forgot to take a pic of my sundays finds. i had it all laid out and got a phone call, then started cleaning everything and putting it away. LOTS AND LOTS of proto, wright, snap on, channellock and old under line C cman and =V= series. he had one side of the table anything for a dollar each. i loaded up 50 items. i buy a lot from him, so he said he would work a deal. i was hoping for 25, but settled at 30.

saturday was pouring. it was slow. bought all this from one seller for 20 bucks. all sunnex and a craftsman deepwell. kobalt margin trowel and a matco #3

A friend had asked me to keep an eye out for one and was really surprised (shocked) how much these go for and how hard it is to find one a good one so feel pretty good about the price and the 20 yr old bottle of red wine he opened to celebrate wasn't so bad either.

Got this in a box I bought at the flea market last weekend. It's pretty cool! Says "instant grip western Germany"
It adjust by indexing the head on the handle. It looks like a gimmicky kinda thing but it has biting teeth and seemed to work pretty good on a couple bolts in the shop.
Anyone know anything about it?

Hit a couple of sales in my area on Wednesday and came up with following.

Logging Tong that opens to 20 inches wide at max.

Stanley Bailey No. 33 wood handplane 28 inches long

J. Chatillon New York marked balance scale with one side marked up to 100 lbs, while other side marked up to 400 lbs. Approx 50 inches long.

Dunlap Vise No. 5244 and this style has protection for the threaded lead screw.

Large old bar woodworking clamp with a logo of either M or W. Not pictured but also got, was a short pipe clamp version, with same logo.

Last item is a Mystery, as it looks like a huge fish hook, but the threads make me wonder if its a clamp of some kind. If anyone can help identify it, let me know.

Picked up 4 of these Australian made McNaught hose reels in VT. 3 work well, one needs some repair, $80 for all four.

Picked up this 1/2 hp block grinder from Jakemac (thanks Jake).

On the way to Jakes got this gorgeous old Columbian 204 1/2 for $75.

It's a 52611, the locks for those are universal. Kennedy sells them, check ebay 1st though.
