I've heard of a trunk full and a truck load but that's the first hood pile I've seen! Score!!

Hey Jeff, ever seen one of these before? It cleaned up pretty nice from what it looked like when I bought it. This is one of the last couple of items I bought this morning

Made in England set of measuring squares $5

Went to an estate sale today, scored a few goodies.
I'd be interested in an approx value on the creeper

Haha that's fair, slightly bummed on the torque wrench. Paid two dollars less than retail now haha. But that just means I'll actually be using it. I'll keep the old box in good condition though!
Sent from my toaster, using toast talk

The truth is, I don't think there is much value in the old creepers anymore. New ones of the same style are cheap, and if someone doesn't want to spend the money, it's easy enough to make your own from some plywood, 2x4, and castors from a dead office chair picked up on the side of the road.
Any value that there is, is in the graphics. Collectors like them for the nostalgia value to use as wall art (that's where mine will end up). The creeper that I use is a plain one I pulled out of someone's trash 30yrs ago. And even then I usually leave it and scoot under the truck on a piece of cardboard.
As for the torque wrench - My grandfather used that same model for 50yrs without any problems. It's a Crown Top and just made the move to the box in my shop, where I plan on using it and then passing it on to the next guy. Who needs bells and whistles when for less money you can use proven technology that won't need a new set of batteries or calibration EVERY time you need to use it. For $20 with a pristine old cardboard box you did just fine.
The Marine Corps used .22 LR rifles for basic marksmanship training in WW2 and into the early 50's. They used the H&R "Reising" model 65 and the ammo for them came in cans exactly like what is pictured above.

Yeah that one is sort of unique isn't it? and it was made that way factory, not a mod...
Sorry, but that one has found a home, along with my 2 handed wood handled 3/8 drive "Nut driver" handle I found a year or so back. I think those two are the most unusual drive tools I have.
This ^^^
I had one similar and they are **** creepers to begin. I have since found and restored one that is older than I am by far, and while it works great, I'm with Jake cardboard; it works even better, and I've recently found an even better material!
I had an apartment door get soaked outside and the plastic laminate peeled off; what to do with it? I needed a sheet of cardboard for changing gear oil and there is was in the way, its REALLY smooth and I slide even better, and it does NOT soak up any oil drips; they just wipe up/off!
So I have that for a large sheet and added to it a slide sheet from a scrapped treadmill and that works well also!
So all in all, the logo is the only thing going for it, and for a select few people at that. You have to find the right buyer...
Mix man, there is something wrong with your images. they are not posting here or in the grinder thread.
Try it this way in advanced posting and at step 5 copy it into the URL field after hitting the "postcard" button):
