My real score...String trimmer with edger attachment. Thing was covered with dust and cobwebs. Lady was kind of hesitant when I asked when it last ran. She thought maybe a year ago. She offered it for $17, I said I'd take a chance at $15, thinking it was probably gonna be a basket case.
Brought it home, wiped it down, dumped the old gas, refilled and primed. Started on the 3rd pull. Runs great.

I always just turned my whacker 90 degrees and went to it, and I see pro gardeners doing the same all the time. seems like a waste to stop and change heads...
I didn't measure it, but it's wider than my Proto roll cab. Nope, on the hunt for that drawer........I could steal it from the Proto but, I'd still need 1!twertsy, did you get enough ratchets this weekend? [emoji38]
What's the story on the Matco box? Is that the 36" wide box? Do you have the drawers for the hole?
Great Score(s) but "Edger attachment?"I always just turned my whacker 90 degrees and went to it, and I see pro gardeners doing the same all the time. seems like a waste to stop and change heads...
I agree you don't see many, if any mowing crews using them. But then again most of the "pros" in my area are all about one thing...speed. They couldn't care less what the final result looks like. That said, it could fill a niche between a trimmer and a dedicated edger, maybe something to use a couple of times a season.
even seeing it as an attachment.BB you **** if only for getting the vise with the anvil cutter! I've NEVER gotten one of those.
That's a really cool vise BlueBomber
BB, there are a couple in the big vise thread that are two-toned and really sharp looking, if you haven't seen them, do a search in the thread for them. [emoji106]
Thanks, Outlaw!Nice score on that set Pvt. Lug!

I've done it!!!!! I finally managed to snag another Vidmar cabinet. I have been searching for a while and I've known about this one, just could never talk the guy out of it. It's got 12 drawers to save yourself the counting.
I finally managed to a couple days ago. I got it for $350. It's going to look great beside my other Vidmar.

Great find Joe! A question however: What makes you think it's for wood? While you could do wood on a metal lathe, It's not good for them.
Williams open/flare wrenches, Vulcan and snap-on box wrenches and a New Britain adjustable

Thats a nice snag there bagged. I thought it was a #40.
either way it's a monster for a 4-1/4" jaw vise.
It would be cool to find out some history on it and what it was originally intended for, this thing came with a 6 foot lever to pull on! I also got 25 cut-off wheels, 25 grinding wheels ( all norton) and 12 Lenox hacksaw blades for $45 so I was pretty happy today
,Tipco, Gordon,Britool,Bedford. This was an unusual find. All are Whitworth or BS except a couple Metric! -$30. I know they are worth more than that.I'm not quite sure, they had it listed as a round stock shearThe jaws don't open up a whole lot but they are about 5 or 6 inches long. This is the first one I've ever seen.

I am soooo happy. Stopped at my local blacksmith. Every time i bug him to sell me an anvil. Today he said yes. First one he offered was this Armand Hammer 125 lber. Then he took out this gorgeous, 175 lb Hay Budden. Edges are sharp and perfect. No belly at all. I paid 250.
Then he pulled out this 125 lber with a real rough top for $100.
This week I went to the regular flea, a yard sale, a pawn shop and the monthly flea.
The monthly flea was MAMMOTH, I was there for 6 hours. The best things are usually found right away but I take my time and look at everything. Still didn't go through those finds yet.
