Did pretty good today. Before reading this, keep in mind a pair of my vice grips (Canadian Tire store brand ones) gave up on me last night, carry on.

First place I bought stuff at, got this stuff for 6$

Stanley USA square
Wesco England oiler
Lufkin USA tape
10R Vice Grips

Another stop got me a 9LN Vice Grips for 2$. Out of a bucket of pliers a guy reserved for 60$ but the guy running the sale said "Give me 2$ for 'em and if he doesn't come back at least I'll have made some money out of it."

Third place I got the 10WR for .25$, couldn't argue with that price.

Fourth place I ended up buying stuff had a lot of stuff. If you didn't know better you'd have tought the owners were retired Canadian Tire store owners. In reality the man's father (90 yo) just moved into a nursing home and I guess he just couldn't resist a deal and ended up buying multiples of everything. Seemed like he had 5x everything, and a lot of it was still new in packaging, unfortunately most of it was made in japan and or china MasterCraft or other cheap brands. Did end up paying 30$ for the stuff below. Pricing was also all over the place for stuff, they clearly had no idea of what most they had. He was asking 10$ for the MasterCraft branded 10" vice grips and 6$ for the 10$ Petersen ones...heh. Ended up givinv him a few pointers on my way out.

Taiwan made SAE and metric nut drivers (1$ each set, don't have full sets at present so this will do until I upgrade)
5WR Vice Grips 2$
Craftsman Canada #0 #2 #3 Robertson .50$ each
Craftsman USA 9-piece allen key set 1$
Bunch of Craftsman Canada screwdrivers 5$
Fuller 905 Canada screwdriver .50$
8R Vice Grips 10$
Klein Lineman pliers 1$
Gray Canada 8" and 6" adjustable 5$ each
Snap-On 71-M ratchet 5$

The prices are what he had on them. I gave him 30$, I dug the Snap-On ratchet out of the mountain of stuff he still hadn't sorted through in the garage. He said they might be having another sale in a few weeks, I'll be there. Probably had another 15 set of various USA made vice grips, bunch of other screwdrivers and other stuff. He also had some beautiful handmade carpenter boxes but I just didn't know what to offer for them. I should have taken picture, it's ridiculous the amount of new in box stuff the old man had. Oh, he also had 3 Beach hand carry boxes that he offered me for 10$. I don't know how I managed to refuse that, but I did. I think SWMBO would have killed me, but she doesn't need to know right?

2 sales this morning. The second one was a bust (a laundry hamper full of cheap homeowner odds-n-ends with a "$50 firm" sign on it :wtf:).

At the first sale I had a planned meet-up with BlueBomber. We had a nice chat while we waited for the sale to open. We'd been near-missing each other at the same sales for a while now and it was nice to finally chat face to face.

The sale wasn't overloaded, but it wasn't a waste of time either. Some of the prices were a little high, but others weren't too bad. There was a Craftsman mid-80's chest with a lot of older name brands that aren't usually seen at sales. In addition to the usual Craftsman (-V-. =V=, circle-H) there were some Vlchek, New Briton, Williams and other names I've forgotten. (I'm sure Bomber will list more from his haul when he posts). There were also cheap brands mixed in. As you can imagine, it was a little crowded around the box as each of the drawers were opened and a mob of hands started pawing at it all at the same time. Picture a hoard of zombies trying to squeeze through a window to grab your children. :lol_hitti

By the time I could get a good look in the chest and pick and choose, most of the easily recognized tools were gone. I grabbed a few things for my shop, but was happy to help Bomber fill his box. I enjoy spending other people's money.

Here's what I picked up for $15.

Pic 1 -
2 - alum. funnels
GTD #5 tap handle
3 - asst. body dollies
Klein D321-4-1/2C needle nose pliers
HY-POWER No 275 Tire Tool

Pic 2 -
Vaughan #9 10oz claw hammer
Nicholson 14" round ******* file

Pics 3 - 4 -
Williams empty 1/2dr socket box
SK Tools empty box

For some reason, I thought I had grabbed more :headscrat
It sure felt like it :dunno:

Couple weeks back, hit an estate sale of a butcher shop owner. Ended up with a nice assortment of vintage butcher cleavers, cutting knives and even a 1955 version of a Hollymatic 54 Patty Making Machine.

Today, they did another sale at same place and so decided to go back, in case I missed any parts on the Hollymatic machine.

Bought three totes of butcher related items and here is what I ended up with.

Pic 1 shows the first row of vintage larger Keene knives/blades, while rest of knives/blades in remaining rows are smaller and most are marked Pesco. The big meat grinder steel plate discs are Keene, while smaller ones are Pesco.

Pic 2 shows in middle an unmarked grinder type item, while on either side is Steak E Rator marked pieces with screw in extenders.

Pic 3 Light duty stainless steel racking, but no additional items for it.

Pic 4 First item looks like a receipt writer, next two items are KVP metal wax paper dispensers, Last two items weren't sure about, but then saw that they held the Steak E Rator pieces from pic 2, so put them together for Pic 5

Pic 5 Steak E Rator pieces put together

Pic 6 Book is "secrets of meat curing and sausage making" by B. Heller & Co this is the 6th edition and issued December 1924 for the princely sum of $2.50. My butcher/owner definitely referred to it a lot, given the well worn pages. The two key rings are from the two meat markets owner worked at. The upper rolls are wax paper rolls.

Pic 7 is leather camera case with owner of butcher shop name on top.

Just hope that I can find someone more knowledgeable than I about items purchased today.

I had the morning to myself and headed out early to an estate sale in Reading, MA that I had highlighted to JakeMac. After just missing meeting at several previous sales, as Jake said above, we recognized each other this time and finally had a chance to shake hands and chat about tools, sales, collections and rust cleaning tips.

The company-run estate sale turned out to be a moving sale - the owner was moving into a condo....and was present at the sale. He kept trying to talk me into buying more stuff. One of the things I passed on was a Craftsman belt/disc sander. This is the tool I saw in the pre-sale pictures that drew me today, but 1) it turned out to be a '80s/'90s Made-In-Taiwan item and 2) he wanted $50 for it. The price was very reasonable (it included a stand) but it was newer than the "Power Bronze" era machines I'm looking for.

However, there were plenty of other goodies to pick through. Here's what I brought home:
eaa646a6ac264baa931036dcb06ddcca.jpg

- Clayton & Lambert gasoline-fueled torch - $15. I goofed on this one - the price I paid is the going E-bay rate for one of these. Apparently they are quite common. Still, its a cool decoration until I decide to sell it and maybe break even.

845d8c32dcf9dce915874515071adb83.jpg

The rest of the tools below were $35.

- 48" Cincinnati Tool Co bar clamp. The old guy had three and gave me a hard time when I only bought one. "Come on, keep them together!" I still feel a little guilty as I type this for breaking up that little family.
- New Britain hex-drive socket set, complete w/ ratchet, extension, hex driver and original storage tin
afdb0b98401a6325c7aef6e61a7b8205.jpg

- Another hex-drive socket and wrench, with no markings other than 1", Made in U.S.A. and Pat Dec 31 1918. Nice chrome though.
- Two Crescent Tool Co. adjustable wrenches, 10" and 6"
- J.P. Danielson Stillson-style pipe wrench, 14"
9ff1ce40bb30a33a39cc34c8d4ed16de.jpg

- Ridgid No. 2 pipe cutter
- Cheapo wire brush
- Millers Falls No. 1027 hack saw w/ tungsten blade for cutting brass/copper
d6e97b97d8787b033fc05beaf4e73772.jpg

- Unmarked 1.5" x 12" wood chisel
- Craftsman 3/8" ratchet, "-V-" series with built-in thumb wheel
- Seymour Smith & Son "Snap Lock" locking pliers - a new manufacturer to add to my collection
- Petersen Dewitt 6LN ViseGrips
- Utica BX100 armored cable cutters. Labeled S.P.A.C. - Smith's Pocket Armor Cutters"
- Jordan lineman pliers, made in Germany
- Henry Boker needle nose, made in Germany
- Henry Boker fence/wire cutter pliers, made in Germany
- Taintor's Positive No 7 saw set - thanks to Jake for telling me what they were!

I cleaned out the DBEs (all 12-pointers) from the tool chest, mostly because they were all new manufacturers (new to me) for my collection.
- Wescraft, 1" x 15/16" & 3/8" x 7/16"
- Western Auto Stores 7/16" x 3/8"
- VLchek, 7/8" x 3/4", 9/16" x 1/2", 7/16" x 3/8"
- Cornwell-F, 3/4" x 11/16"
- Chrome X Quality, offset, 3/4" x 25/32" & 5/8" x 11/16"
- Chrome X Quality curved wrench, 5/8" x 9/16"
- Chrome X Quality smooth sides, 9/16" x 1/2"

- New Britain Machine Co auto wrench, No. 729, 58" x 25/32"
a89f70137b7dcf026a436e0174998d37.jpg

- Goodell Bros ratcheting screwdriver. A competitor to Millers Falls one town over in Greenfield, MA. This driver seems to only be capable of driving in the clock-wise direction - it is not reversible.
- Vaco 10.5" tiny-tip screwdriver

A set of Xcelite brand screwdrivers, gathered up from boxes and cases all over the basement.
- Three R3164 flat blades
- One R184 flat blade

- Two X101 Phillips
- One SX102 stubby Phillips
- Randomly, one Weller soldering iron w/ suction cup (don't have one, haven't seen one, so I bought one :) )
3fc059e5d9916d04cbe3ce760cbbf4b1.jpg

On the way home, I hit up three more yards sales with "tools" in the listing.

Stop one had a cool '50's Ford in the garage and a bunch of stuff in the driveway to help fund the resto. Some interesting items, but I only bit on two things for $2:

- South Pacific LP record. This is the Broadway version of the movie soundtrack record I picked up in Alabama. Maybe the two together will bring more on the 'Bay.
- Disston hand saw. I bought this one without research and only afterward realized it was not one of the valuable ones. Oh well, it only cost me a buck, but it was good prep for the last stop of the day (see below).
97354919888b2e885b6dda8529bf5327.jpg

Second to last stop, another moving/downsizing sale. I picked up everything below for $3.
- Collins Co. "El Luchador" curved tip machete. May be WWII vintage.
- Millers Falls 733A 8" brace in bee-utiful condition w/ Craftsman 14/16" (no kidding, that's what it says!) circle-D auger bit, 41762
- Millers Falls No 48 adjustable width (2" - 3") brace drill bit
- Another hex-drive socket and driver, this one with only a funny circle-H maker's mark on it
- McKaig-Hatch Inc adjustable wrench, 10"
- Craftsman circle-WF sink wrench, 55683
- Craftsman crowntop scraper, 99015

Last stop, an estate garage sale. The owner was cleaning out Dad's property and told me of previous weekends where they'd cleaned out so many tools that one guy had to go to the bank three separate times to pay for all his purchases. Well, that must have been one hell of a honey hole (can't believe I missed it), because there were still lots of crumbs left.

- Window cling thermometer (token purchase for SWMBO)
- Worth brand 6" needlenose
- Channellock No. 317 needlenose
- Craftsman circle-C side cutters
- Craftsman WF hose clamp pliers, 45391
- Craftsman circle-Y adjustable wrench, 8"
- Craftsman long-C DOE wrench, 9/16" x 1/2"
- J.P. Danielson adjustable wrench, 6" w/ 12-pt wrench in handle
- Sun Electric Corp leather fuse puller pliers, 2-1028
- Fairmont DBE offset wrench, C code, 7/16" x 3/8"
- Snap-on battery clamp puller, CJ92, 1964 date code
- Berylco H54 beryllium-copper ball peen hammer
- Unmarked claw hammer - old, but no maker marks
- 17" Globemaster flat blade screwdriver
- Canco Keglined can opener
- Buck Bros. 25' tape measure - because you can never have too many tape measures
- Disston No 8 hand saw - I learned from my earlier purchase and spotted this one in a pile of handsaws on the workbench. The curved back was the distinguishing feature I now know to look for.

And last but not least... after I paid for the above, I realized I had forgotten to ask about the Columbian 4"-jaw vise on the workbench. We walked in to look at it and he asked if I would be able to unscrew it from the bench. I showed him the Craftsman adjustable I had just bought. He said "How about $5?" I said "Deal!" :bounce:

Whoop, whoop! Another good picking day!

BlueBomber - If I'm right, the circle-H on the bar clamp is for Hargrave (Cincinnati Tool Co.).
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=301065

If I didn't already have enough pipe clamps clogging up the corner of my paint closet, I would have grabbed the two you left behind. That metal socket organizer is still stuck on my brain as well.
Yep, the clamp's circle H stand for Hargrave. The H in that picture is very rectilinear. The one on the hex drive wrench had very curvy sides that follow the circle. I'll have to spend some time on Google looking for it.

I missed the zombie show at the tool box while I was waiting on a price for the sander. It's funny because it's true!

Was looking forward to bringing a good handful of cash to the local flea markets today and coming home with a pile of good tools, but alas, a last-minute family bill reared its ugly head and it knocked my walking-around-money to about $25 or so. So, here's what $25 buys:

pic 1: lot of 4 license plates, pair of VA truck tags, and I believe a pair of European tags (country?)

pic 2-3: lots of wrenches
Proto adjustable 8-inch
Ford DBE brake wrench, 8-point sockets on each end
Craftsman tappet wrench
lot of 3 Craftsman ignition wrenches
Honda DOE
Hazet DOE, original NOT India made
Indestro DBE
Bluegrass DOE
Belzer-Monteur DOE
3 misc antique DOE wrenches, no mfg.

pic 4: misc tools
Ford slip-joint pliers
German made 6-ft tape measure
German hemostat
Craftsman 1/4-inch driver
Stillson monkey wrench, made by Hudson Forge (head is a mismatch from another wrench)
Stanley screwdriver bit for a brace
weird brace-looking tool, any ideas?

pics 5-6:
48-oz Stanley ball peen hammer, needs new handle
ACE-brand USA-made deadbolt lock new in package
Indestro socket set, missing a lot of sockets but the case is hard to find...

pic 7:
12 sockets - Craftsman, Proto, Snap-On, S-K Wayne

Met with my Viceman Boston minion today for a potential megapic. Here is what I got, all for $125:

Pic 1 - 5" Wilton tradesman, small press, 4 ton shop jack from the 20s or 30s.

Pic 2 - Brass oiler, gorgeous 1920s machine shop vise, 4 small clamp on vises and 1 small bench vise, various ball peen hammers.

I saw a ton more they were selling, but not today. Nicest thing he had was a 250# trenton anvil with a chipped up top.

Pretty happy.

Thanks! Even better when you convert our lousy dollar to American.

I have to admit though, I screwed up big time. The last place where I bought a bunch of stuff... I only gave him 5$. When I gathered all the stuff I wanted to buy, it was all stuff outside the garage. We walked to the garage so he could grab me a bag. I asked if anything else I the garage was for sale and he said sure have a look. That's when I found the SO ratchet. Offered 5$ and gave it to him out of my pocket. I asked if I'd paid him for the rest and he said "Yeah, you did" but I had a strange feeling I hadn't.

After I got home later I did my accounting (figuring how much money I blew at sales and the farmers market) and sure enough I was 25$ over :( went back over there but they had closed up for the day and no one around. Might hit them up again tomorrow or just hope they have another sale soon. :(

Just scored these off an on-line auction site - 30 bucks - and my real desire was for the boxes.

One even has some birdseye maple with a light reddish stain.

The inside of the box shows how the PO cared for his tools. Front to rear - Stanley Handyman, Millers Falls, and Yankee 131.

In case you missed it, I said "Yankee", as in North Bros. Yankee, meaning older than 1946. The pictures just do not do justice for this screwdriver. It is in spectacular condition. Here's a picture showing it with another Stanley Yankee of the same size. That's my gloat!

So it looks like everyone is busting out of the dog days of summer today!:thumbup::thumbup:

I'm pretty happy with my day as well!

Almost everything came from one place, and I went there three times before we said "Done"

I had ten planned stops too! but it often only takes one..:pimpflash

This place is three houses/properties (at least and the ad said "ten families" but I'm sure it was extended families, besides neighbors.

I got stuck at the beginning of the driveway cherry picking tool, and things, and it was all "$1 each"

This is what I got there:

Old Imperial Pocket Knife, Plvmb Combo (lawsuit grinding, but the cleanest I've ever seen!) Plvmb 3/8 rat that will need a swim in the E-tank (Charity case...), Marble's Match case, BlackHawk Flex ratchet (and a 5/8 socket), Long C Craftsman DBE, 2 Herbrand Offset wrenches but someone shortened the 9/16 (Cut and welded),Damaged plane for parts, Hatchet sheath, A "Getz" push cutter that uses the VERY old "Injectable" razor blades.. (I'll have to do some digging to get some as I strongly doubt anyone stilL make them!) and a shift knob with the correct pattern for my Samurai that I got hoping the thread would fit and Dang if it didn't! :bounce:

attachment.php

This second pic shows the WWII (I think) cleaning rod and I'm reasonably certain this is for machine guns and for both 50 and 30 Cal.

attachment.php

All for $15!

We then made the rest of the rounds (this was stop No. 3) and went home as we ahd taken pics of a pile of 200 12 x 12 tiles and SWMBO said she liked them for the Screen room, so we went home and got her and the van, and went back.

The only other stop before we went back that produced was a Garage sale that had an 18" "auto wrench" that I got for $3 Diamond Horseshoe!

attachment.php

On the second trip back I saw this WWII Coleman 1 burner, and it was only $10 and it included a full can of fuel! :pimpflash

attachment.php

I need to go out of order now (pic limits) ans AFTER we got the tiles andsome other stuff, We headed near this place for a stop we skipped as it opened late and I went back for the third time as SWMBO had seen a sewing kist thsat was laoded, but had a lot of stuff she liked but the box was damaged" Damaged to her may not be damaged to me.. (I know what is an easy fix...) and unfortunately it was gone... but I did get this cool old solenoid timer for $3!

OK when we went back for the tiles, I had looked at an old mechanical Floor jack and wanted it; price was not bad at $40, so as the Tile was $60, I offeredn $80 for both, and he took it! :bounce:

I'd also seen an Equipto drawer unit (18 drawers) that was mising 4 of them adn for $5 decided to go for it. its identical ot another I have so that is a good thing!

Drawer bins and tile loaded:

and a close up of the label. 1-1/2 ton 16+ inches of lift and after it's refurbed, I can even use it on my Samurai! :pimpflash It's fully operations as it sites but it needs to look original! so before I start searching for old posts on old walkers, does anyone know what color they painted these? I'm guessing "walker Blue" but possibly it was a different shade back than? (I'm sure this is 1920's or so...)

This was also when I got the Coleman stove posted before.

We went home (had to, the van was pretty full) and my daughter and I went back to try for the sewing kit SWMBO mentioned after we got home, and I found the timer posted before, and this Army shovel ($2) , and my daughter got this old pulley block ($2) to use in an art project most likely.

Six bucks actually seems a little high for a BPH to me, but I've never seen a Plumb logo with leader under it like that. Also, with the original handle? I probably would've done $6.

I've never heard of Blue Grass tools before this post of yours. I'm assuming they're an old manufacturer that's not around anymore. If so, that's a pretty sweet find for how nice the condition of that hammer is. I'm also a sucker for big stamps, so, nice find!

Blue Grass was the house brand of Belknap Hardware who is long gone.
Great finds this weekend guys! I went to one sale, no tools, all sold already.

Character, Yes, and while it's theoretically usable, that rust does the workings no good at all. I want it operationally and ascetically where is was new, or close to it.

If most of the paint was there I'd consider a clean up. There is absolutely no paint left after I don't know how many decades outside (probably) it has lichens growing on it for gods sake... Are lichens "patina? :headscrat

A good day. There has been a Reed 206R 6" vise on Craigslist for a month now, a bit rough looking. It was priced at $225 and was about 75 miles away so I passed. Well the price dropped to $150 so I decide to go check it out..

BUT I happened to check Craigslist and a guy was cleaning out his fathers shop locally and had just posted up. Looked interesting so I stopped there first.

His father was a woodworker and a USAF motorpool mechanic. Judging by his woodworking tools he must have done some nice work.

Picked up the following (pic 1)
11 made in USA tube ratcheting wrenches 3/8-1". Large S mark, Stride maybe?
2 welding and 1 sheetmetal Petersen vise grips
3 Bonney Crowsfeet
Craftsman USA adjustable wrench
2 Easco crowsfeet
Fleet 1/2" ratchet
Gerber USA multitool
10 Matco Torx bits
Proto crowsfoot and gasket scraper
Stanley Protacter and 2 squares
Wetzler Long Island City F-bar clamp. A little research turns up these are held in high regard. Wish there were more!
Williams impact wobble universal and S-53 ratchet.

Pic 2
Millers Falls eggbeater with the bits still in the top.
Snap On crowsfoot, universal socket, 7 SAE 6 point 3/8 drive sockets and a flex 1/2" ratchet.
2 Durham hardware boxes full of off the wall hardware
Made in USA set of hole saws in box
Palmgren drill press vise with No. 12 swivel
Unibit

We agreed on $100 for everything

Took off to look at the Reed vise. Ended up paying $125 for the vise, Ridgid pipe vise that is probably scrap and a 36" long railroad anvil.

Hit a sale near my place this morning. Guy is cleaning out a building he leased and bought all the contents at the same time, not sure what his plan was but it's full of a hoarders possessions, and seeing as the guy ran an airport on the property at some point it has some seriously cool stuff but most is totally useless to me.

Ended up paying 20$ for a big ziploc full of tools, tought I had more stuff but what the heck.

Gray Canada DOE
Herbrand Combo (first Herbrand wrench I find)
Mac Combo (same thing)
Gray Canada DBE
Craftsman Long C DBE
Ford script DOE and two Combo (will clean them up and hang them on my wall, reminder of my Grandpa who bought and drove nothing but Fords)
Barcalo DOE (my first)
Bonney Combo (first also, also in much better shape then the rust of the stuff I bought for some reason or another)

Snap-On 71-10 Ratchet, cleaned it up some already, ok shape no more had a lot of rust on it. Looks like a 1946 date code on it, so that's cool.
Craftsman -v- 1/4 Ratchet and T-handle
Sockets in the back are all Craftsman USA -G-
One socket alone is a Herbrand
Rest are Craftsman USA -v-

I left a few sockets behind that were too badly damaged and I was sort of rushing through the sale since I had stuff to do at home, so I may chuck a few sockets out once I clean them if they are too badly damaged.

Their lease is running out in October, but from what the guy there was saying (seller's buddy) they want to be done in a few weeks with clearing it out so they may do a sale or two more, will probably head back see if I can find anything else.

Nice Score Tim!

That Craftsman is a the RHFT (Round head Fine Tooth) and in 1/4" drive is 84 clicks to the turn. They used a dual pawl against a 42 tooth gear to achieve an effective 84 teeth in use.

The 3/8 and 1/2 drives are 45/90, and keep in mind this is in the early 1970's; well before SO and others caught onto the fine tooth ratchets, I think this was in response to the SK's, as back then they were the FT leaders AFAIK

Hey nine4! Been meaning to stop by and pick up my vise screw but just have not been in the area. Hope you find some deals next week!

Your screw is still chucked in the lathe, right where I finished off at. If you need it I can ship it but it would be cool to see you again and hang out for a minute. Looks like you have been busy buying and selling, that's good stuff man! I've been busy on the upholstery and no sales advertised worth going to really but fall is coming and maybe it will pick back up soon!:beer:

My finds for this weekend:

Picture 1 - Group shot, left to right:
Diamond 10", wide opening adjustable wrench - $4
Evansville 3lb double bit axe with shorten haft - $1
USA Irwin Quick-Grip bar clamp - I've had a single one of these that has held up to every task I've asked it to do. I've wanted a second one to go with it this whole time. Finally finding it was almost seemed like destiny. I saw a tote at the flea market that looked like a bunch of **** (about to ignore it) when I decided, "What the hell? I'll look through it." Got to the bottom, saw the shape, got excited, saw USA, bought it. It works just as good as my other one! - $4
Iron Price (?) tack hammer (?) - I've researched this logo and can't find anything. Anyone know what it actually is? - $1
Jorgensen 4"x7"x9" (opening) USA woodworking vise - I've researched this piece a good bit and can only find the 40709 vise, which is a quick release vise. I'm not sure if mine is quick opening or not. Is there anyone a little more familiar with these that can tell me if that bronze nut is properly positioned? - $40
True Temper Flint Edge Kelly Works 2lb double bit axe head - Any exciting find! I can't wait to get a handle for this baby and have my first proper cruiser! - $2
No. 406 Drop Forged Clamp - $3
Parts Holder - Yes, it's out of shot, but it's nothing special: 17 compartments (6 rows, 3 columns -1 missing bin) - $5

Picture 2 - Jorgensen underside - Is that nut properly positioned?
Picture 3 - Is it?
Picture 4 - Adjustable, double bit, clamp, hammer
Picture 5 - What is this manufacturer?
Picture 6 - Double bit, clamp
Picture 7 - Dunlap 5244 Vise - Made in USA, 3.5" jaw width, 4.5" opening - Free

Very cool. Like I said I was kind of picking the place in a hurry and I stumbled on the box with the ratchets and sockets almost on my way out the door, I picked up the Craftsman and tought it had a nice feel to it and was in good shape and I had picked up an incomplete 1/4" set the other minus t-handle and ratchet so I figured they'd do well in there even though they're not the same era.

I'd read a lot about the RHFT here but this is the first time I've spotted on in the wild. I always find pliers and screwdrivers at sales here, but ratchets and sockets are rarer for some reason, quality ones even moreso.
