Pick up from an on-line auction - haven't seen anything like this before.
Top is 1/4" steel plate - sides are 1/8" steelplate - 8" rollers.
My late father would say that this cart is as ugly as homemade sin.
It's heavy, but easily moved on the large wheels.

surface gage used on a flat surface plate to scribe a perfectly parallel line on a piece of stock.not sure what the tool with small base is. Any ideas? see 2nd picture.

I really have been laying off the estate sales, and am moving a lot (okay, some) of my stuff on Ebay. I had no plans to go picking this weekend until SWMBO texted me at work Friday saying "Town-wide yard sale tomorrow. Buy me a caffeinated beverage and we'll call it a date!" Who could say no to that?!
First few stops were tool-less, but we bought a few books and other household items. However, persistence paid off on the last cul-de-sac of the day:

Last stop was at least a hundred feet of tables with standard yard sale debris, but I found the one tool in the bunch. The guy didn't know how to get the blades in, but after I showed him how, he let me have it for $15.
Milwaukee orbital Sawzall, mdl 6520-21, w/ case and a dozen blades. Case is missing one buckle.

Under $30 for tools, and I got to spend the morning with my better half (priceless).

and I missed this find from last week. Only markings I found so far are in 2nd picture. Everything seems to work.
More to come!
Decent morning run; Only 5 planned stops though. I'll be up in the mountains again next weekend and possibly the following one.
First stop (unplanned) a Yoga mat for SWMBO to replace the on our oldest daughter "borrowed" for a class; A buck, appears unused:

Second stop first planned, and the big score for the day: lots of reloading stuff and supplies here, I passed on a lot of it.
Two powder measures; the Redding is identical to the one I grew up using, and still use occasionally. The pistol measure came with two cylinders and a spare dispenser nozzle. The sinker molds are for 1) 6 & 8 oz egg weights; and 2) mushroom decoy anchors.

A Redding Case trimmer, a No. 5 shell holder, and a Wilson Case deburring tool looks to have never been unwrapped (I'd know, its the same one my dad gave me when he gave me all his other reloading gear...)
![]()
A NOS "long gun" sock, very old Aluminum leader case, and 100 ft (guessing) of 1" black webbin and a couple of snap buckles.
![]()
A MEC 20 Gauge progressive reloader, and three Ammo cans
![]()
And my daughter grabbed these: Work gloves in "SF Giants Colors" and the rafter hooks
Everything from Stop 2 came to 31 bucks!![]()
More to come!

An Enders drift, and two small precision clamps. (not too sure of the maker on these as the name is full of paint.. Possibly "Futters" L(something) Limited?).
YOu Thief Outlaw, $31, you can go to Jail for that!![]()

Kennedy box $5

Is the outside of the Hinsdale bx as nice as the inside? that's an old box.

Spent all morning roaming neighbor sales in search of something good. I normally avoid these sales as they are full of baby clothes, books and Christmas ornaments. But my son needed to practice driving before I'll let him get his license and we had some time to kill.
Most sales were a waste of time but it was nice to spend time with my son. Here are the highlights. And he's becoming a much better driver. Over 70 miles today.

Porter cable 6424 polisher. I need to pick up a pad which will cost more than I paid for polisher. I've been wanting a DA polisher to remove oxidation on my tool chest. $5

Black and decker 3052 worm drive saw. $20. Did need to replace two orings to stop oil leaking.
We are doomed BB is back at it again.

to get into my territory! Ok, finally got a chance to take some pics of the items I picked up yesterday- I was hoping to find a press with the Vari-slow option, just didn't realize it would be so soon.. Only had to wait a week. Got everything below for $230. The band saw was too nice to pass up, the previous owner set up the multi-speed pulley for it.
On the press, he wired a reverse switch for it, which I think is pretty cool.
And what's in the box? A NOS column to convert the press into a floor model.
ALso picked up the Tap and Die set, Ive been waiting forever for one of these to pop up. Thanks for looking.
Not me, he's a continent and three large mountain ranges away!
Lots of this:to get into my territory! [emoji14]
