I have been remiss in not posting anything for the last few weeks, so here you go:

I think I paid around 10 for all this, highlight being the lawsuit Plomb 1"er, also found the following Herbrand compression tester kit complete and Vim hollow punch set for 20:

This week I hit the swaps early yesterday, finding the following:

New Proto and vintage Cornwell flex overs, complete set of Proto SAE sockets in 3/8's a Williams 11/32 socket for a set I am building and this little Starrett box, for $10. Containing:

Today, hit another swap in another part of NorCal, gathering the following:

Williams B-51 in need of a rebuild, and Proto LA narrow nose pliers, also a double handfull of newer Cornwell 1/4 drive sockets for 15:

There was also a Klein fishtape and a table leg to be turned into a grinder stand. As I was driving through the towns I saw a little sign for an estate sale, so I popped in, finding this:

I didn't even ask the price, going straight to the crappy tools to see if there was anything not picked over when I heard the guy say $5. I didn't even try to bargain, just threw it in the back of my truck. I already have the three bottom drawers out to start working on.

The tapatalk app for phones is whats causing the monster pics. It uploads some at a reasonable size, but others come out just plain huge. I cant figure it out.

I find what I have to do on my phone is take the picture with my camera app, and then post through Tapatalk from the picture folder. If I try to capture the picture directly with the Tapatalk app, it's uploads huge.

I'll post more finds later, but I'm really happy about this one. I traded some items for these: 24 inch and 18" Diamond Calk adjustable wrenches! I've been wanting these a long time.

Estate sale find today. Mind you this was the second day of the sale and this was still perched nicely on 2 nails on the wall. This is only my 3rd double ended adjustable in 15 years of digging, these don't turn up very often. I was amazed this was still there and last day prices were beyond good. I got a 5 gal bucket full of items so Im thinking I paid maybe 25 cents for this.

A family owned bolt store was closing and they were giving away some old stock and 10' long bolt/storage racks. Got it all for free but it was a big job moving the 10' rack without a forklift on my end. they loaded the rack for me with their forklift.
I am selling a lot of the bolt if anyone is intersted lots of 1/2" lags various lengths and 1" hex bolts various lengths, galvanized and plated for both.

Marty -Nice find on the Scholler! Definite You **** there.

Makattak -Cool pickup on the large Diamonds. I looked at a 15" Barcalo, 4" PowrKraft, and a double ended Crescent today. Couldn't justify the prices.

Hemi - you **** on the $1 Blackhawk ratchet too.

I tried the local online auction for the first time, won 2 lots totalling under 40 bucks. uploadfromtaptalk1462175962455.jpguploadfromtaptalk1462175977436.jpguploadfromtaptalk1462175988085.jpguploadfromtaptalk1462175995738.jpguploadfromtaptalk1462176003285.jpguploadfromtaptalk1462176008414.jpg

A boatload of sockets, most were SK and Craftsman. There were a handful of 1/2 sockets ranging 1 1/2 to 3/4 that I put away already.

Two of the ratchets were Craftsman styles I've been wanting. Now I have to find them in 3/8.

Thorsen, SK, Ace hardware, Craftsman and a bunch of unbranded made in USA wrenches. There's a few made in Thailand in the top. Loaners.

Ridgid pipe wrench, Diamond wrench, Utica pliers Thorsen wrenches. There was also a lectrolite pliers, must have put that away.

Neat tool box, never heard of the maker.

Most of these were in a large plastic tool box. The box must have got wet and sat that way for awhile, everything was rusty. Also, the previous owner had painted most of the wrenches and sockets red. Spent 3 hours cleaning and wire wheeling them.

Yeah, these don't fall out of trees any more! Great find! Many people forget to look on the walls and up in the rafters..

Some more good hauls there guys. This is what I wound up with yesterday.

A tool box full of old sockets and drive tools.

Mostly Thorsen, Husky and S-K. $37

I paid 30 something for the rest of it. Some cast iron, wrenches, pliers, etc.

Highlights include a nice Kin **** wrench, Riverside box wrenches, a Snap On 5/8" drive t handle head and an over strike logo socket, Craftsman pro pliers.

Does anyone remember who recently found a pair of cast iron pineapples ?
I thought it was Outlawmws.
Could you show the post # if possible. I scrolled through about 90 pages and didn't find the post.
I found a pair this weekend and want to see just for giggles if they match.

Here is a pic of the missing three drawers, with the logo on the bottom one. That should let you know who it is:

BMW, look inside the drawer front where the logo is attached. Often in that era there is stamped in the base metal the name of the maker and sometimes a year date stamp.

Possibly I saw it on another thread here on GJ ?
Someone somewhere showed tools bought at a sale and threw in a picture of cast iron pineapples they also found. I don't remember where I saw it. AARRGH.
I've always had a good memory but it's always been so damn short as far back as I can remember.

Advertising Metal Display Company '58. I had noticed the name in there, but good tip about the date. Thanks!

Picked up this Stihl hedge trimmer attachment for your chainsaw. I have rarely seen these before. Anyone else used one or have one? I know I need a special gear adapter for it. Wondering if it will fit my saws, ms210 and ms250.
Paid $30 for it with an extra set of blades

What do you guys think about this craftsman profession box for $100? They said it was dropped face down while transporting it from job to job so some of the drawers are bad.
Is it everything in the picture? Sounds like a deal to me, or at least needs to be checked out.

Although I was mostly busy selling at Pate Auto Swap Meet I did buy some stuff mostly from my friends in the spots next door LOL.

Wood crate for military cannon rounds and a milk can $25

Proto wrench roll, early Bronco shop manual, couple of Ford truck steering wheel horn buttons, wood handled auger bit ands some wrenches $30

Then Sunday I went to the local flea market and picked up this Fairmount 2 5/8 monster wrench for $10, L. S. Starrett sheet metal thickness gauge for $2 and the glass table top they are sitting on for $10. The glass top will probably get used with one of my old cast iron machinery stands for a patio table.

Well me and Makattak81 went to a lady's house on craigslist i found. The ad said wife selling husbands tools so it looked like there were huge deals to be had but when i got there i found out she was the toughest negotiator i have ever dealt with buying tools. I ended up getting a couple tools and a couple electric motors for $30 can you guys tell me if she got one over on me or did i do good. I bought them because they looked cool. One is a Franklin electric motor this isn't working and the other is a general electric that is working. Also got a crescent wrench, Williams wrench, proto flex socket, moon wrench. She wanted a extra $10 for two hex key folders that you can get for $1 each at estate sales. I spent forever looking through the stuff to find this stuff then when i leave she says oh i have all these tool boxes full of tools in the other garage but i am too tired tonight and it was only 5pm lol. But she was at least 80 years. But Mak said there wasn't much in the boxes and i am betting she wants a arm and a leg for the tools in them so i probably won't be back.

So I saw a mobile base on CL at a fair price. Called and went to buy it but amazingly it was $5 more than the advertised price. He even had a print out of the ad with the higher price on it. I was convinced it was a scam and he had edited the ad after I called. But no it still showed the lower price on my phone. He checked his computer and confirmed my price but would not give. Naturally I was ready to leave, but it was still a fair price so I offered to split the difference. I also let the seller know what I thought about scamming. Maybe that was not smart in the circumstances. However I left with the parts and was still happy with the price.

Half an hour later I got a call with an apology. He still said he can't understand how the wrong price was posted but wanted to give me a refund on the difference. I told him I was not driving back for a couple of bucks so he is donating it to charity.

I started of being really pissed at this guy and finally ended up hoping I don't start losing it like him. I honestly believe he had forgotten about reducing the price. Old age must be tough. I'm not far away.
