Wow! How much did you give, if you don't mind sharing?
Yeah.For my bike?
Yeah.
Your vise reminds me a lot of the Columbina 9R vise I bought that had a heavily worn bronze nut in it. It turned out that the Milwaukee/Morgan Tool Company still makes a similar vise and the bronze nuts for their vise hit on my Columbian. I'm attaching some pics of that vise and a PDF of Milwaukee's parts list. No guarantee that they would fit your vise, but on the chance they did, it looks like you would need part no. 23 and 25.

I may bust my spleen resisting this one. It could be expensive.

Practically unused Proto SAE ASD wrench set in chrome. Price was unmarked and the dad was still running around putting up sale signs so the mom didn't know what to charge me. So I told her no problem we can wait for him to come back, not looking to take advantage of anyone. So he shows up shortly and says hows $50 sound ?.......Sold !

Only thing of interest to the general population is probably the Craftsman 1/4 drill with a 1948 data plate. Post-war, but too danged close to leave it behind.
This box and everything inside is interwar. The box is effing indestructible. See the enclosed pins on the front? For strapping to a horse. There's a pair on ends/sides, too. I doubt it's a complete kit. I will go through it and save what looks military and integral.

I'd love to happen across a deal like that. I wouldn't be able to get a crisp $50 out of my wallet fast enough.

Very nice complete set, Blue Frog, and even the roll-up is in great shape. The weave of the canvas and the hardware says 1950's and so do the finish and handles on those WALDEN drivers. Nice find!First, of interest probably to Pvt Lugnuts, is a set of nut drivers - 3/16" through 9/16".
Very good eye, ttpete. When I dumped the tools out I could see that the box had thin uniform slots for partitions where the magazines went. It's a French Benet Mercie MG ammo box, used also for a short time by the USMC. If you're interested in a closer look, I plan to post more pictures in the GJ Toolboxes thread on the Vintage board shortly. That wooden box is interesting. The only time I've seen that type of latch has been on US Army WWI wooden machine gun ammo boxes.
