Those speed zone comps were good computers. I sold tons of those in the past.
This small Craftsman set. Is it 1/4" drive or something older?
It's a 1/4 drive

I routed my oil and filter supply run in the direction of an estate sale and picked up the following additions to my collections for $40 even. Prices were opening-day-high, but these weren't bad.

Good to see you came out of retirement BB

Well done, Rusty!I hit up a pawn shop today picked up a metric and sae blackhawk wrench sets. Each set is a 11pc and every single one of them is brand new. I payed $40 bucks for both sets out the door. The sizes go 1/4-15/16 and 6mm-16mm. My favorite part is the pouch and wrenches are made in the USA [emoji4]

LTK: loving the HUGE WRENCH and garage/man cave art until you NEED it sounds like a plan.
It looks like International Association of Machinists union? That's a cool old find there.
3baygarage:
You may have something which fits, as J. H. Gansert might have been the grandfather from Centerton Ohio and possibly attended an International Association of Machinist union event in La Crosse Wisconsin on June 17, 1899.

A few months back, I purchased a bulk buy of 1920's era mechanic hand tools. Was going through a small box found in the mix and on one side of a shield looking medal on a chain and writing on one side that looks like I.A. O F.M. June 17, 1899 La Crosse Wis Pic 1 while on other side of medal it says J. H. Gansert Centerton Ohio Pic 2.
I haven't found any connection between the two sides of the medal, but wondered if anyone else might know.

Williams USA 17 wrench to either resell or shop decoration, $40
great research - I did not notice the 'OF' was a word rather than two letters (no dot between them) - they still use that in their logo today - you might be able to find someone at the union who deals with the history - they have a nice timeline on their site https://www.goiam.org/about/history-of-the-iam/
Great finds guys. that Union medal, is it silver? it sure is worn. the Eagle is barely visible!
Jpicker: Interesting that the furniture was about 1970. Not a lot of dovetailing being done that late.
Tool_Master: that box is I think one of the first with the oval "50's" logo, (actually started in the late 40's) Usually that style boy has a yellow Long C Craftsman on it. Do the drawers have slides, or just run on angle rails in the box?
Jaw: I'm also a sucker for cast iron decorative stuff like that/
Username, nice find on the two boxes!
