Got my order today! Loving it! New SK 3/8" ratchet along with sets of metric and SAE sockets and of course, the HJE goodies!

I picked up the 3pc Craftsman Professional pliers set which I'm extremely happy with but my favorite item in the box was the WW2 bomb tether! I have to admit I had no idea what it was until I spent about 20min searching the HJE website.

Got my order in today, that 90 tooth SK feels good in the hand, and smooth too. I also like the feel of the handles on that torx set. Might have to look at SK screwdrivers next.

Another Epstein day has came and went. I am happy to be able to participate. Probably my favorite things about ordering from HJE is that the orders are packed in a way that the tools are properly secured. I order a lot of tools online and too often its a bare tool in an oversized box. The tools look pre used. Every order in have received from HJE comes to me looking like I picked the items off the belt at the factory.

Got my order in today and wanted to tell the Epsteins crew thanks once again for the great deals and a big time high five on the bomb tether, pocket screwdriver and triple deluxe cats paw.

Thanks, Cam

Got my order in, today! Everything looks great and I'm excited to put the tools to use. The only thing I am bummed about is the tether was put in with the shirt and stained it pretty bad.

I've got enough stained clothes!

I received my order yesterday, along with some cool box art. Everything looks great! I didn't get the prybar/any other freebie, even though my order totaled just over $100 - maybe it was limited in some other way? Oh well...

Hmmm. My first Epstein's Day, and my orders are still "processing".

Normal for this event.
A store that is used to shipping a few orders a day, got hammered with a few HUNDRED all at once, on top of their regular business. Add to that, having to order product, wait for receipt, processing the incoming shipments, processing your order, and then ship; there is naturally going to be a delay.

Good things come to those who wait.

There has to be a better way to do Epstein Day... I'm sure Jori and his employees would rather have the business all year rather than over a one to two week period. One thought - if S-K would allow HJE to accept S-K Club memberships.

Not that big of a deal. Just wish it would have been made known that there could be an extended period of time to make all of the shipments. I'll be back next year knowing that it might take a while and be expecting it.

I think it's fine, yeah I have to wait a while but I knew that when I placed my order. I'd love to buy year round but budget is tight and shipping is normally a budget breaker. So if they could work out a shipping promo I'd order more

This is something that's been made clear, even in this thread. Jori and Steve(?) have made it known that order volume, box art and ordering in stock to fulfill orders will slow down shipping.

Just processing that SK order had to take a few+ hours. We need to remember, this is a business owned by regular folks. There's no robot order pickers, like Amazon. It's one of the reasons why we support HJE every year.

Jori made it clear in his posts that shipping orders takes longer during this event.
It's in more than one of his posts here. :see:

The Wilde hanger plate works well. The painting job is not the best, but it won't be seen. The Craftsman labeled bars were from a local purchase, the 36", 4" and blue Grayvik are from the Epstein's Day. Since I don't have much room, anywhere, I put it over the window, by my toolbox:

My order arrived!! I plan to try out the SK ratchet this weekend. It will be a big change from the 35 year old one I got in tech school. Filled in a couple empty slots in my socket set while I was at it. The wrench and pliers are from Wilde. Never used any of their tools so now I can give them a try. Needed a better way to store my wood chisels so I got one of Callie Brinton's hand made chisel rolls. Very well made using good heavy canvas.

Got my order today too. :rocker:

100_2610.jpg 100_2611.jpg

SK 80200 ratchet
SK stubby scraper
SK 3pc prybar set
plus the T-shirt, bearclaw, and the cluster clip.

The Bearclaw freebie is timely, mine is nearly worn out from use and needed to be replaced.
The handle on the ratchet feels really good, but I still miss the knurled rings.
The small head will take a little bit to get used to.
I wonder if the repair kit for the 1/4dr version will fit the 3/8 ? A long handled 1/4dr would be nice.

^^^^ Wilde sure does provide good customer service! Or is it HJE that's going to fix things for nikerret?

And I got my shipping confirmation from HJE and should have my order on Monday! Yay!

I don't work for HJE but I DO manufacture the racks. I'll make it right.
I don't sell them directly anymore Have to go through HJE right now for that.

Ooooh.

How about a custom run for the group? Instead of "Wilde" how about "Garage Journal"? Sell it through HJE.

Thanks to HJE and Jori for putting on another great Epstein's day event! The giant pry bar almost has me wanting to have to do some suspension work. Almost...

I try to make it Epstein's day throughout the year and order stuff from them just to keep them and our manufacturing going.
