Three bay, Hopefully both the storm and looters will leave your place untouched!
Will a CM 100-series motor mount work? If so, I have one laying around you can have for shipping costs.
I have had decent success with Krylon Royal Blue, but some cans seem to match better than others...

P&C 1/2" socket set, thought the sockets are various years, I found on Fri, at an estate sale here in town. It was in a Plomb cub 3/8" box, and juuuuuust barely fit, but I forgot to take a pic of the box. $10. Saturday I found these:

P&C ball peins, both 12 and 16 oz., and a Starrett cabinet scraper, spent $18.
And today I went to an antique faire with the wife and found the box they are sitting on:

That was $17, and I also found this for $30:

And really clean on the inside:

Not a cheap weekend, but worth it. Now, I gotta slow down on the spending... (yeah right.)
Has anyone had any luck matching a rattle can to the late 30's early 40's blue Sears used?
Thank you Rag! And that Proto box is ****!
Here's the manual for the drill sharpener from the VM site :

Apologies for the harsh lighting in the pics, My camera is messing up on that topic and making things pinkish...

The breaker bar is the earliest Craftsman tools. C series predates the BE and Circle H stuff. 1920's to early 30's, ended production in '35.Went by my favorite habitat for humanity and scored the following for $17! Knipex pliers, krauter mini linesman pliers , vise grips, long plomb driver and 2 sockets, deep 1/2 drive sockets. Super cool wood handled flat tip. It is labeled mcduf ? Also picked up this old craftsman 1/2 breaker bar labeled C93. I think it is the long c era but am not sure ? Also got a 12" diamond caulk adjustable wrench and a Sears gap gauge

I really dig the boxes (you deserve a "you ****" for those alone) but those P&C hammers - they look like NOS! I am not worthy to be in your presence, let along the same state as you!!
Seriously - if you think you can live without them, please keep me in mind!

50 dollar anvil
Hey Rag, nice haul. You're not even in OTC country! Or maybe you are. They are quite elusive for me. Never see their ratchets locally and people seem to ask way too much online!
Did you point your camera at the solar eclipse?![]()
Here is a couple Snap On boxes I found at a garage sale. It was laying on the floor, hardly any other tools, I would have bought it just for the box, but I lifted it and it was full. No I didn't beat a poor little old lady out of money, he was 30ish, and seemed to know what he was doing. It had a bunch of "Giller" (Thorsen) 1/2" drive, a 3/8 & 1/4" craftsman ratchet, and the little Snap On box w/Snap On 1/4" (what am I missing in this set?) Plus a few "orphans" all for $10.00.

And this one pleased me as I've been wanting a GOOD drill index for YEARS! Fractional and full of misc, mostly new bits! (Plus a few taps and other things...) Its a Huot!

I haven't posted in some time. I see a lot of killer finds form other people. Anyway I picked up a few things, a Morgan 45 vise $35, a Hay Budden anvil 45lbs $50, ten c-clamps all but two are Wilton $20, and a Brown & Sharpe square free. The bench vise and anvil I cleaned up, sorry no before photos.
I usually gauge my garage sale weekends based on how much snap-on I can manage to collect. i didn't get any this past weekend but I still feel I did pretty good.
100 9Vs and at least 60 AAAs and unseen brand new 3M respirator for $20
Some 24" sanding belts for my 21" sander. Doh! Forgot what size I had. the tap handle and full set of concrete bits were only 1 each also, so I don't feel too bad.
Underlayment for hardwood floors. But I will be using it for my workbench. Adhesive on one side. Works awesome. $5
Brand new Olympia Vice. i don't think anything has ever been in it. $20
But best of all was this craftsman vice. Made by Reed... I think. it even has a tag riveted to it:
"PROPERTY OF
DEFENSE PLANT CORP'N
N INSTUMENTALITY OF THE
UNITED STATES GOV'T
DPC 3A893 SOLAR"
Turns out the Defense plant Corporation went from 1940-1945 to help create manufacturer plants to make war materials. How cool is that?! i paid $3 for the vice. I had to ask him 3 times if that price was correct. I couldn't get my money out fast enough.
