Moderator edit:

OK, fellas... Here's the problem:

The Home Depot Clearance Threads are REALLY, REALLY popular. To some people, these threads are a great place to scope deals for later profit. I don't really have anything against these people, I just can't relate to them.

To other people, these threads are a great place to troll and make fun of other users for fun. I can't relate to these people either... but on top of that, I don't really want to serve/host these people.

To yet another group of people, these threads are a great place to find deals on stuff they actually need. Now, these are my people. These are the folks I really care about. These are the folks I want to host.

The problem is, I don't have enough time to monitor these threads day in and day out to make sure that this last group of people have a clean enough thread to get what they need - ya know? I set rules and tell people that if they don't have a deal to post, then don't post... But folks either don't see this or ignore it.

I'm hoping that with a new thread, people will see it... and people won't ignore the rules.

So, let's try this again.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A DEAL OR A COMMENT RELATIVE TO A DEAL, DO NOT POST ON THIS THREAD. THIS ISN'T A THREAD FOR YOUR OPINION ON ANYTHING.

Further, if you feel like calling someone a name or just being rude in general... well, please find another forum. You aren't welcome here.

Thanks,

Ryan

DS130 $26.00
DS300 $34.00
DS450 $49.00
The first aid kit they had on sale with the holiday stuff is $10.00

Then you don't need to join. You got all you need!

...post some deals and maybe you might get an invite. The eyes above invite only those who earn it.

I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned in the old thread, but HD currently has the Milwaukee M12 Fuel Impact driver and Hammer Drill kit w/ standard & extended battery + charger on sale for $199. You also get a free bare tool, one of which is the ratchet.

I went in to use a gift card just from Christmas for the ratchet and ended up buying the whole kit + ratchet for $100 more. I figured I'll sell my old impact and the new hammer drill and should come out ahead and have some extra batteries and the newer Fuel impact.

Thought I had a penny item on a faucet ending in .03, the date on the tag was from September. Second time I've had something that's been past 3 months that hasn't been a penny lately.

These planters "should" be .01 now?

Was that in-store? I see alot of the free extra tools online, but none with ratchet for $199.

In-store, yes...I couldn't find the one w/ the ratchet online either, but it did ring up for $0 in-store. The ratchet is sweet, I can't believe I hadn't paid much attention to it before now.

Can someone tell me the easiest way to upliad photos?

Instead of quick-reply, click on "Go Advanced". Then below where you type in your text you will see a section that says "Manage Attachments"... Should be pretty self explanatory from there.

Lots of the Philips Hue stuff is being marked down. Think because the 3rd gen lights are out. The strips are also being marked down.

This starter kit is usually $199. These have had a weird mark down schedule around here and aren't following the .06 .03/.02 pricing system.

Pic isn't showing up. What was the item/price? I was at one HD today and noticed that one of the employees grabbed all of the hue stuff and brought it over to customer service. Nothing in the price checker other than the minimal discounts on the older kits.

The BF Klein Tools Electrician's Wiring and Testing Kit (7-Piece), is down to $24

an FYI for the fellow bargain hunter:

I asked a returns person recently about items that are clearanced out because they don't belong in the store (with the clearance thread in mind :D). They said those are all due to special orders done in store either not picked up or returned, not online returns like I had previously thought. They said all online orders are sent back to the warehouse, and never put back on the floor (though I'm sure their are exceptions).

Not to sidetrack, but one time at my Walmart Neighborhood Market (grocery store basically) they had a nice TV in the clearance corner and discounted considerably. Person said it was a ship-to-store item that the person never picked up. So rather than ship it back to the warehouse (or even take it to the super Walmart just a couple miles down the street) they clearance it to get it gone... *rolleyes*

Ive recently seen the Weber grill cover for $18.03, chicken cookers, and quesadilla rack for $5. Also picked up a nice Kohler cast iron sink for $107. Have been watching them for a while and they never drop.

DEWALT
20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit (2-Piece) with Mechanics Tool Set (200-Piece)

$200!!!

Kinda like you're buying the batteries and mechanics tools, and getting the drill and driver for free. Better hurry if this collection suits you.

I'd say that kit is worth $150 at most, okay deal at $100, good deal at $75.

That drill/driver is exceedingly old, batteries are a pathetic 1.3Ah, and I bet it's the slow charger that takes 3 hours to charge. That ratchet kit is probably $30 under their Stanley brand.

You know it's so easy to just simply ignore questions you don't want to answer.

You could have answered with less words.

But hey, thanks.

No, it's not easy to answer in a few words. There is a very detailed explanation of the entire thing in the first page of the '16 HD thread. Really, go ready that and it will explain everything.

He wasn't being a jerk, he gave you the direction you should go.

Straps and bungee cords are getting really cheap found a few today at the .03 cent level. And a few things from the Christmas section that were 75% off.

Thanks to the clue provided by DanielSimpsonDay, I found the explanation that we need. Read posts #1, 3 and 6 (at least) in the linked thread.

Maybe go back and read previous threads first since it's been consistent for a few years now.

Maybe pound sand. :headshake :headshake :headshake

While picking up the last of my Keter Fusion 757 sheds on Monday (posted about them last month), I noticed they had a fully assembled display model in the parking lot.

These dropped to a penny several weeks back (last clearance was $250.03), but I've had success in the past getting stuff at last clearance at this particular store.

If anyone in South/Central Texas wants/needs one bad enough to deal with the headache, send me a PM and I'll give you the location.
