Yeah some of the oddball sized rolling toolboxes are down to $50 +/- as HD keeps changing the width they stock in the store... You just have to check the PCA and do a search (as with everything), and search 'rolling toolbox' I think it is, I forgot exactly what they call them. Also doesn't hurt to walk around the back area looking at the SKUs of the ones still boxed up... Might find that one oddball that is reduced or even penny...

You would have to work hard for it around here. They are loaded for Mothers and Fathers day. It looks like Christmas. Racetrack is full.

because its a public forum most are leeches or even just lurkers who aren't even members which is why I rarely post deals here and there's like 4-5 people form Mass here too so why should I help my competition?

Has anyone else noticed that the HD menards 11% match page doesn't show the most current sale dates starting Sunday? I have about 10 doors to order and was hoping to use this. Can't wait much longer to order.

It usually takes a couple of days for the HD page to update for the current Menards rebate. Also make sure to check the HD list of eligible stores (link on the rebate page)

Thanks, I'm definitely on the list of stores. I just found it odd since last time they had the date on their the day the sale at menards was effective. Last night I emailed the HD contact and their reply was all but useless (We currently are offering no discounts). Mind you this was the support link specifically for their 11% rebate.

I just don't want to spend a very significant amount of money at HD until I know for sure they are going to match the menards deal.

FWIW, must have been a recent site update. Now the location field is labeled "where is your garage located". Note also you are now required to fill in certain other fields such as occupation to update your profile.

10” compound saw down to $450 via the price check app. Some areas are saying it’s down to 300. I’ll buy @300 haha.

Is it a faux pas to ask what the price check app is? Is it something you download on your phone or the computer station in the front of the store? I tried that computer in the front of the store on a saw that was on clearance and the sku doesn't even come up as a good number.

I've been following this thread, but none of it makes sense when I actually go to HD.
I peruse the "clearance" section and so far the steepest discount Ive seen is about 10% :rolleyes:

It's a program on the in-store computers. EOC_Jason posted photos showing how to access it, a couple months ago. But there's been a few reports of some stores' computers no longer having a way to get to it at all.

Last paragraph & pics talk about the Price Check App... Basically all the computers in the store have it. Best to use a computer during a week day, and I try to find an area where I won't bug anyone, like the computer that is usually next to the big glass sliding doors to the greenhouse area, or one back in appliances, or doors/windows...

The PCA gives the real-time IN-STORE price and quantity, INCLUDING clearance. Basically the same info as the hand-helds the employee's use.

You can search by SKU (preferred), UPC, and keyword. Be aware sometimes what you call something isn't how they describe it so best to stick to brand names and keep words short and whittle down more detailed as you figure out what it is exactly you want to browse.

I'll have to double check, but I don't recall seeing that icon on the computer they had set up for public use. I mean "price check" is pretty obvious wording, lol.

Yes, it is $300 in some areas but I think most are already sold out.

Was $300 at my store and I was thinking about it, but by the time I went back to buy it, was already gone.

Sometimes they minimize the top 'public' section, you will see a little arrow to expand it if the rest of the screen is the same.

Both my local stores have at least 2 in stock in each store . One store has them on clearance for $450 and the other doesn’t even have them on sale. Same thing with the fuel circ saw with the 9.0 and the dual 9.0 starter kits. Both on sale at the one store for $125 and none in stock but the other store has them but not on sale. It’s aggrivating haha.

So I found the app. Nothing super interesting on clearance today. So just out of curiosity I checked on the fabled penny vanities. The app says they have two of one of them in stock but I didn't see them anywhere on the shelves.
