I'm going to say don't have someone scan it, unless there is no chance of it being a penny.

I wasn't looking for anything particular but came across two items the other night that were a penny. The first, ironically, I had a MET employee scan. "oh that shouldn't be there." and I go, "what is it, a penny?," to only get a 'do you work here' kind of look. There were 5 Milwaukee plastic package openers on a hanging strip, no price tag. He was cool, and said make an offer. I said all 5 for $2, then realized I didn't need them in the least, and took 3 for $1. Then, when headed back to customer service for something else, I saw 1 hitch ball left from their major auto clearancing. It was marked $6.03, but rang up a $.01 at customer service, so he adjusted it to the sticker.

While talking to the MET guy, he said the only thing he couldn't sell it for was a penny. I aid, but if I took this to the SCO, I potentially could have got it for that. He just said, "I can't sell it for a penny." (dang, I guess I should have offered $.02)

All Liberty is being replaced with Everbuilt. a majority of the items have already been on a buyback by the vendor and eventually all will clearance.

yep just spent 2K this afternoon! Ran it through bid room and it was a bit better than my military discount so with that and the 11% I did alright. They denied another of my 11% rebates and the only reason I found out was tracking the rebate on that site. It'd be nice if they used the email they have on file to notify you that there was a problem but I just assume they hope you don't notice until too late. I called and found out the receipt # was too short, so why do they accept a receipt that isn't 14 digits to begin with? How about don't allow entry knowing full well it's an inaccurate receipt #??

You have to find someone that could care less about penny stuff. Some of the employees save some small stuff for me. Different districts mark down differently.

It will probably be gone.

This was the Hightstown, NJ store, although many stores in NJ and in the area had them.

Our store had 6 in stock, 2 pallets of 3 each. After they got one down for me, the manager? decided to put the other 5 with a big sale sign in the contractor checkout area... so odds are, they will be gone by the end of the day... If they haven't this morning.

Apparently these are notorius for blade wobble. Be sure to check yours. Supposedly certain serial numbers have been fixed, or they send you a washer kit that may fix it

You could go to your HD, ask them to contact the NJ store and buy it that way. I did that with a generator a while back. You will need to pay for it withh CC and be sure to check price

Yes, I did hear that and saw in some of the reviews. Apparently was fixed.

that ridgid miter saw has terrible review ratings...everyone complaining wobble, returning to store for 4 different units...all same,,, wobble problem... Then supposedly newer ones are fixed and still new buyers with higher serial numbers are still saying wobble problem...they gave up and returned it...

Three at two different store in my area Some flexvolt marked down but will not show on clearance. New lower price.

I think you are looking at the wrong saw. It has 43.5 over 1025 review on HD.. other sites on google are close to that too.

Got several bottles of the Zep drain cleaner for 1.83 and 2 of the dewalt multi tools for $6. Some bundy wire connectors are at .03 price now. Most stores have them in the electrical section, not the clearance section. The mother load today was the Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner, that was clearanced out months ago. I got 4 cans then for $2 but today I found a case of cans sitting where the Lucas gallon heavy duty oil stabilizer jugs normally are. Someone must have found a new case up high and put them on the shelf. I price checked one and it was .80! I swooped up all 12!

oh, and I also got the multi cut tool for a penny today.
