See pic above. That's where all of NC and SC goes.

It's all good. Every once in a while I find a deal or two. Tell him to reach out to me if he wants me to check a store. I'd be glad to help. I get my deals to stock my own shop not to make money. It's a fun "hobby" for me.

Dewalt miter stand $60 from $119

Also saw 18v ridgid belt sander @$75 marked down from $149.

Schlage Sacramento and Latitude doorknobs down to 7.53, scooped up enough to replace all our bedrooms and closets. Previous owner painted all our knobs.

Is it really worth your time? By the time you drive around and meet people on craigslist or ship it all... You making enough money to make it worth your while?

Depends on how much a person pays for it. The drill sets are 125. There selling online for 300. If u get it for .01 even more profit.

Nope, not worth it. No way to make really any profit unless a penny. Never really made any sense to me, but who am I to tell people how to do their own life!

Not saying I would do it either. I cant stand dealing with people on craigslist. Maybe ebay.

Ok fellas... I'm just about done with all this.

A reminder: This forum is here for two reasons:

1. To help other members find deals on things they otherwise wouldn't.

2. Help supplement revenue here at TGJ to keep the joint afloat using affiliate money earned through hot deals.

It is not here for couponers... or really for those guys that are trying to somehow make profitable time out of it in anyway.

If you don't want to participate, cool. But please don't interrupt the forum flow. I'm gonna start closing accounts from here on out on folks that want to flaunt a "secret forum" or flaunt how many items they bought at whatever price... etc...

I'm just sort of tired of it all... and it's starting not to be worth it for me. I'm not threatening to close it down or anything, but I'm getting tempted to really change up the format.

Please man... be cool, follow the rules, or just find another forum.

Another, hopefully someone can find this! None around me. Found some tape but I blew that deal for myself. I could not find it and at that point a worker asked if they could help me. I just asked if they had any more of that tape and they said no. I found it moments later (all of it) but then he knew it was a penny. He took me up front to see if I could buy it all the while I was trying to just tell him not to worry about it. Well they said they'd sell it to me for $1.50 (Some random #) but I felt that wasn't that great a deal as I buy in bulk for les than that usually. I did get some interesting insight on the way these price scheduling goes on at this particular store. The lady was very talkative. If only my memory wasn't so horrible. Now all 11 of those penny tape rolls are removed. Stupid stupid stupid..

Sorry if this has been gone over, but how are you finding these clearance items? I don't see them when I look the up on their website.

Edit: okay, reading through the last page I'm guessing this is on their store computer? Interesting...

I doubt there is much in flipping these, but I've had good luck with them being quiet, and coming on faster than some of the other cheap LEDs. 75% off is IMO an actual clearance price My store has quite a few in the lighting clearance area. I didn't see any hard white, but imagine they are discount too if you find one. I put them in all my drop lights, and haven't burned my ear or broke a bulb since.

If you're only getting 8mpg, I can see why you wouldn't want to drive around hunting HDs.

Re: 2018 Home Depot Clearance Thead

There used to be a sticky on how to find the HD deals.
Ive search but could not find it right away. Basically HD deals have to be found in store. You can look here to get a general idea of what may be available. Once you are in the store you will need to find a computer terminal that is available. In the bottom left corner of the desktop on the task bar is a black circle with a bunch of dots. Click this and it will open a HD screen with apps. The top row is "public" use. Select the price check and you can search by keyword or item number you can also refine your search to only show clearance items. Alternatively you can take an item to self checkout and on the first screen is a price check button. You can scan an item without ringing it up or adding it to a transaction. If you have any other questions pm me. I will try to help the best I can. I am still kinda new to the game.

I don't have a picture, but my local HD has several unfinished oak cabinets on clearance for 75% off. They were 20-50ish dollars (most expensive was a 36" lazy Susan cabinet for $50.03).

Yes, HD will often rotate out stock / models of cabinets and it's not uncommon to see them sitting there at 50% off, 75% if you are lucky...
