Oh it is Out of proportion!

Oh wow, I didn't know that.

It was a nice little drive, nice guy too!
Then I was close, stopped at my buddies house and He was installing a lower rad hose on a 2000 V-6 ford ranger. Visited and helped him with the hose.
It has a "Y" built into it as a bypass hose.
What A PITA set-up.
The saw seems to be Nicely made too.

The long shot bids sometime pay off.

I like to, instead of a “watch”, enter a really low bid near the beginning of an auction just as a place holder.
I can always go back later in the week to enter a higher bid after further consideration. Once in a while, I forget about the item and get a pleasantly surprising notice that my initial low bid actually won the auction. I once got a small clamp on vise for $3 and that included shipping!

PSA: it’s St.Walpurgis’ Nacht.
Social distancing is a MUST, regardless of political affiliation. If it’s too wet for bonfires (as here in PA), best practice is lock your doors and windows, hang up some garlic. Keep a stake handy. I think the American Hardwood Trade Organization recommends hawthorn or ash.
If you do run into nosferatu, play “Good Vibrations” by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, loud. Just don’t look directly at the video. A mirror or welding goggles may offer some protection.

LS--

Not only did I miss the transition between St. W and vampires, I missed the context--to whom were you replying and about what?

Nice pic of Carlos, though.

M’aidez! M’aidez!
Let us not forget the 1886 Chicago Haymarket Affair, nor the eight-hour-workday martyrs.

Whan that Aprille, with his shoures soote...
Hath failed to fully pierce the drought from COVID-19 mitigation measures,
Yesternacht’s vampiric allusions (und Mittwoch fractured city main delugeons*) were not the only things that SUCKed!

Smokeshow69 drew 2.5 “*****” for his FBmarketplace HAUL of handtools.
bmwrd0 drew 2 “*****,” one for a clutch of three boxes, and one for a 1-Benjamin Gerstnerkiste vom eBuchtmarkt.

In the 1-“****” category:
Outlawmws, for a note-enabled gun cabinet curbside rescue,
Jack84, for a NIB nut-turning Stahlwille set,
Provincial, for a vierzig-Taler (36,59 €) fireproof cabinet.

May May find you finding fonder finds! Keep on suckin’!

*A municipal water main ruptured a couple blocks uphill from my house, Wednesday. My car was up-to-the-axles for an hour. Another car at ground zero actually tipped into the void. All is well now, minus some lingering basement dampness. (The view from the street-side basement window was like staring into the lee scuppers on a beam reach.)

Got mentioned, again. Awesome!

Think May will be quiet for me. No flea markets and I’m avoiding thrift stores.
Got some stuff last week via marketplace but flipped 90% already.

Nice pic of Carlos, though.

I wrote a massive, heavy-handed treatise of free-association (AKA caffeinated synesthetic fugue) as a response. Then my guardian angel nudged me to refresh, rather than save, so it is lost forever. You are very fortunate, and the world is a better place.
This isn’t really the right forum, but...here are the main inspirations:
Draculasguest.jpg

Earlier this week I re-read the Bram Stoker short story, “Dracula’s Guest,” which takes place outside Munich upon Saint Walburg’s Eve (Apr30). St Walburg is the special patroness against hydrophobia.
Vampirism strongly resembles rabies (hydrophobia), and the recent association of COVID-19 with bats, felines and canines (all rabies vectors) caught my attention.
466px-Heilige_Walburga.jpg

Realizing that today was St Walburg’s feast day, I just had to give her a shout-out.
The Marky Mark thing was another pun, on Walburg and Wahlberg.

BTW, Congrats for identifying Señor Villarías.

I needed duplicates of these two like I needed a hole in the head, but they followed me home for $160 today. Will have to work them into the mix with different grit wheels / belts than I already have handy.

So technically the state will allow Flea markets to open; Technically the HS flea can open tomorrow. I kinda doubt they will...

Picked up this load from a friend who wanted out of reloading. He made me such a great deal that I told him "this is too much for" the asking price ...he vehemently refused additional payment, so it's a good thing that he didn't look at the check I wrote him for (a little) more. I need to find a way to get back to even with kharma before it comes after me.

Complete RCBS RockChucker kit (10 years old, in new condition)
RCBS tumbler and walnut media
4 sleeves of pistol primers
2lbs pistol powder
3 sets of dies
brass and bullets associated with the dies - enough that it took 2 trips to carry it all into my house.
Craftsman 26" 6 drawer tool box to keep it organized (b/c it's GJ!)

Great score GPW! And tool boxes for the reloading stuff works great! I have one of the smaller 20" wide Kennedy rollers (all drawers) crammed with reloading tool and some of my supplies. It also has my much older (Leather handle) Kennedy 520 that houses much of the tiny tools collection, plus a 2 drawer mid.

Helped a friend move her mom today. Her dad (RIP) had lots of tools and so did the Grandfather. For my time she gave me this tool chest with some the drawers filled. Any idea as to the maker of the chest is welcome. c8983be34095cca923b2f193b3d2e3af.jpg15f30171cf2b54ee4c5b6832bca24bc2.jpg832a34f6aa1d699142e0a0b3d72e75fb.jpg037dbadaa4c6a341a16aa743c4d5df89.jpgabd79f62366e24d439f56d153b7ab7b8.jpg0b82a5f1f21f71deca55393cbde2333c.jpg

Its a clone of a Kennedy 520, but it's not Kennedy, I don't think Waterloo, the inside of the door panel is different. Possibly Park? - they also used the button pulls? - any markings on the lock or hasps?

Odd; the inside of the cover panel isn't Kennedy, either. I wonder if both companies used the same lock supplier?

Did the keys come with? If so what is marked there?

I have a 520 copy like that, except someone painted it orange. It is on the shelf to be moved on. Shouldn't have too much trouble as the local college teams colors are orange and black.

Still nice find! I'm trying to fill mine (No label so up to me...) with drifts. I keep finding drifts ground into center punches...

And a report back on the HS Flea; as expected it wasn't. HS is closed - period.

With all this spare time, I've been doing a (very) little organizing, which necessitates labeling. A couple of eBay finds as the fleas and sales remain closed.

The Dymo needed a bit of cleanup and the Greenfield stamps are barely-used.
