this is the $5-11 antenna.
lot's in stock in Wash DC:)

I'm not an expert, can't comment on the quality, but so far I'm happy. I don't know if it'd last long outside, so I have in the attic.

Thanks Nikon5400! Found one locally for $11. Most stores were out of stock and a couple still have them for $46.**.

Also, a good indicator is to look on FB marketplace. Some people near me must have gotten the 2200 because they are selling for $850 in box

Guys those were marked down to clearance price on 7/01/2020.....they are long gone. Most stores were $599, not $699

2200 watts is barely enough watts to run a fridge. HF has 4k watts for $350 without coupons. Doesn't seem close to a decent deal.

Not only will it run a full size refrigerator, throw in the tv and some lights while your at it.
And be a lot quieter than a HF

Went to a few more HD's and found a few stores with the 2200 but they were at best $899 or $999

Anyone know if they will eventually drop or if HD has a price guarantee for a period of time? granted i'm sure by then they will be gone and there will be no reason for them to drop the price. All the stores I went to are fairly close together in NJ. You'd think they would all be clearanced

Not true. we have a 2 of EU2000i gensets (that we parallel together to run our RV AC when boon-docking) and ran our Refrigerator, rewired our NG Furnace for the blower motor, ran our TV, Internet modem and a couple lights during a 7 day power outage from a severe ice storm several years \back, all on a single unit. we loaned our other unit to our neighbor who did the same thing we did.

You cant compare a $350 4kwatt HF generator to a Honda EU model.. The HF is a loud genset that create dirty power that I would never plug any expensive electronic equipment into where the Honda is a quiet inverter type genset that produces clean power. Apples to Oranges.

I’ve run several different refrigerators for days at a time of my EU1000i. In the years I’ve had it, I had ONE fridge it couldn’t run. 2200 watts will run ANY appliance that has a standard 120V plug with power to spare!

And the generator you’re comparing against isn’t even an inverter, and isn’t a quiet model. So you’re making an apples to bananas comparison.

While i agree that honda gen is awesome, i bet the the EL coming from the utility company is just as dirty as the cheapo generators.

You should know better living on LI. We have one of the worst grids in the country. Ask me how i know?

Ask me how I know. I deal with power quality in a Data Center on Long Island in my day job.

Everyone thinks their grid is the worst.

That really depends on where you live. A lot of grids are fairly clean. I've seen areas that have great grid power put I've also seen areas with really dirty power where we had to put power conditioners on certain circuits because utility power was so bad.

A little trick I learned over the weekend. I was looking for a certain item and it showed on clearance but OOS at the store. Brickseek showed limited stock. I called and the HD automated message asked me for the internet #. Sure enough they had it in stock at the marked down price.

What if brickseek shows limited stock, but automated message says out of stock? Does it mean it's a penny or something else?

Means, don’t waste your time

Not really. According to PCA item is in stock, on clearance, but still expensive.
But.. I couldn't find it. I remember some penny items had clearance price in PCA, but don't remember the quantity.

This slick deal is back.

I ordered one. I plan to resell the lboxx and the bag and filter (if possible) I’m mostly in it for the nice anti static hose. Second only to festool (or equal). I would buy two but can’t really justify the need for two more hoses.

I assume you use this hose with a Bosch vacuum? If not, which vacuums does it fit?

I bought one of these when it was still in stock this morning.

Well turns out I found 2 of the honda 2800's for $599. Which is great, but I wanted the 2200.
Does anyone know if I took a clearance sku sticker to a non clearance store would it work? IDK sounds pretty sketchy, not to mention maybe it qualifies as theft? Plus the isle info doesn't match but otherwise doesn't appear to have any store identifiers.

You literally just confirmed what I said [emoji23]

There’s always penny items in PCA

Meaning? wasted time? :)
Honestly I didn't look hard and didn't ask anyone for help. If I was 100% sure "limited quantity" with automated message "not in stock" and inventory >0 means penny I'd try hard to find it.

By the way, what price is in handheld when PCA has clearance price, but register scan at penny? Just curious if it's safe to ask an associate to find such item :)

If the associates scans it at a penny with the handheld, they are suppose to take it. I had that happen.

I told an associate to find a mgr, and explain that if it is on the sales floor it is for sale, and if not removed was the fault of the MET team. If the customer finds it, their "win." I went from associate, to sup, to store manger who agreed with me and said it was their fault for not removing. $100 rain coat for a penny.

Then two weeks later, I saw four lights on the shelf marked with a shelf sticker for a penny. That I had never seen.

And why not let a customer feel happy (its not likely repeatable even if he told someone), because the alternative is that perfectly good product going in their garbage compactor.
Last week I didn't pick up a clearance item I had been eyeing that there were several of & no one was going to buy. Talked to the mgr on duty when I couldn't located, and he said he watched them go into the compactor 2 days prior. Perfectly good drain cleaning drum replacements ($100 down to $25), now garbage. :(
