So this isn't exactly from a yardsale, but I did have to pay for it. Although I got a great deal.
We are still dealing with my grandfathers estate, and we are at the point where the aunt and uncle have gotten what they want, and everything left belongs to my mom. Well I have been trying to buy this tractor for a while, but she would never come up with a price.
Well today she finally did.
This tractor has been in my family for years and I have tons of memories of riding on it with my grandpa. I always liked it because the seat was offset, so the axle made an awesome passenger seat for a grandson (me).
Anyway, it is a 1940 Farmall B. It needs a good cleaning and new tires. I was fully expecting a struggle to get it going, being a hand crank, something I have never messed with. But all I had to do is drain the sediment bowl of the foul smelling gas, put new fuel in it, and crank her. She fired right up and purred like a kitten. Not bad!

I got some hand tools (some unusual ones as well) and things too, but will have to get a picture tomorrow.
