MAC truck off of Fullerton and Addison. He was hiding behind a machine shop parked next to an auto body shop.

Saw a Snappy truck heading west on Lake Street just east of Mannheim which is totally new for me. I think it’s the same guy that services the area east of 25th along North Ave.

All this is in the Chicago burbs. Still have never seen a Cornwell truck.

Oh! I forgot to add, for the first time ever I saw a Snappy truck heading into the industrial park off Lombard and Fullerton. I know that my driver said they couldn’t find anyone to take that route, so seeing that truck makes me think they finally have someone.

Winnipeg MB Canada - I am probably the only bike shop (bicycles) that has a dealer who comes around once a week. I believe that is considered a "problem", maybe, or not? His timing has been impecible as we seem to be "stuck" on weird repairs needing something big and odd and (almost) unbreakable.

I saw two MAC trucks near Robbins NC yesterday. Also saw a Cornwell and Matco truck near Pinehurst last week. My son said Cornwell. MAC and Matco come by the dealership in Pinehurst every week. Snap On comes by every 2 or 3 weeks.
Saw a Gearwrench truck near Southern Pines on US1 last week.

My Snap-On driver is selling his route. I get a feeling these next few weeks are the last I’ll be seeing of a tool truck for a while LOL

I do have a Matco dealer who lives a mile from my house though. I see his truck frequently

I had Mr. Patt (and the National Sales Manager) pay a visit to our shop today. We have a few things on order for the new location (which will probably be worthy of a new thread here), and talked about impacts and how they have helped saved our lead tech's bodies (note - we work on bicycles and you'd be surprised how hard a seized bottom bracket is to remove after a winter commute season)

Anyone know a Cornwell guy in the SF Bay Area? I'm looking to pick up a couple of their tools and Cornwell doesn't really do online ordering.

My Matco dealer had some time on Friday so we chatted for a bit. It’s not pretty out there for drivers. He said trucking is stabilizing but it’s down and now his auto guys are reeling from geopolitical decisions. He told me he has been really struggling the past few months and he’s the only Matco guy for the whole area. The Snap-on guy essentially said the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Inventory on the trucks are piling up as far as I can tell while the HF has never been busier.

I also saw a Snap-on truck on Grand Ave just west of Church in Bensenville Monday. He was chilling at some precision auto shop.

Snap-On dealer’s last day was yesterday. He says he isn’t sure when his route will be getting picked up.

A couple months ago I think he got credit locked and basically was screwed. He kept telling me parts were hard to get. Whatever was on his truck was basically it. His deals were pretty **** too but I’m a cheap ******* so I don’t think he was really interested in wheelin and dealin with me

I saw the MAC truck once this year and tried to order something. . . . needless to say, I haven't seen it again.

Sad that Mac HQ is an hour south of here and you never see a Mac truck.

I saw a Matco truck heading south from Mecklenburg on State Route 228 in NY yesterday.

Ton ton, I used to live in your area and would always see the Cornwell or Matco truck parked at the Shenandoah Valley Airport.

Williamson, WV/Belfry, Ky - Snap-On is all I see. Used to see a Matco and a Gearwrench/SK guy but haven't in years.

I'd buy some ratchets off a Matco guy if he was close.
