What brand does everyone use. Never bought any or used them much but now have tractors to work on.
Are you in shop that repairs tractors or at your home/ranch/farm? If you are just doing it at home I would recommend to buy the cheapest ones possible as I rarely saw the larger sockets break and I get something like the chrome sockets from Harbor Freight. As you climb into 3/4" sockets and ratchets the larger the price tag.
Ok I’ll start hunting local auctions and kijiji
Craftsman is the brand of sockets we use in 3/4". The sockets are fine. The teardrop Craftsman 3/4" ratchet is a piece of junk.
Does Harbor freight have a 3/4 " drive 30mm? Snap on doesn't, I just asked my snap on rep.

I bought a really nice Gearwrench set earlier this year from homedepot for $288.

At the same time I bought a metric Tekton set. The gearwrench is far superior on quality of fit and finish

I like the looks of the HF case. It hopefully keeps the sockets from rattling when you are going down the road.
