Hello Garage Journal! I Just purchased my first home in Northport, Florida. One of the requirements I gave to my Realtor was the home had to at least have a three car garage. After a few months of searching we found the perfect one. I actually purchased the home while I was over seas and went solely off pictures and the inspections. I work as a Marine Engineer for the department of the Navy so I travel ALOT! I just moved in this week and starting with an empty canvas. Here are some pictures below. Any ideas, comments, info would be appreciated. After viewing this site for so long I am excited to join the community and share my garage with you all!
My first purchase was this Snap-On three bay box with side cab, hutch, and stainless steel top. Got this off CL for $2800
I have an IR 60 gallon two stage compressor on the way and should arrive later this week. I will post pictures when it arrives.
I plan to put a lift in the second bay, still trying to see if we can fit a two post. The ceiling is only 101" so i'm going to look at placing the posts between the ceiling joists if I can and cut out the drywall. otherwise might have to look at a four post with jacks.
I plan to rip out the installed wooden workbench in the corner and put in two metal workbenches next to fill in that space. This will allow for storage below the bench as well.
I will keep you posted with new updates.
