Yeah, it is a truck camper. We use it for fishing trips etc. Usually for me sometimes me and Lehua on fishing trips.

Our plan was to "live" in it if/while the apartment wasn't done.

After one night of doing that we have taken the opportunity to re-think that approach and bought a 22' 5th wheel (1999 Jayco). MUCH MUCH better.
All is well

Rough plumbing is done. Pictures tomorrow. Electrical started today. I was able to trade my electrician my 1969 Ford Mustang for the work on the apartment, shop and equipment shed. Good trade and glad to eliminate another possession.

Taking a good deal of inspiration from this build. Keep up the good work!

Thanks. Biggest challenge now is working around everything in the shop and getting appliances, doors etc.

Due to COVID-19 my Milgard windows took 9 weeks and two were backordered. [Usually they run 30-45 days.]

My wife picked cedar siding from a local mfg. in Missoula, they aren't returning calls...Not directly due to COVID-19, but indirectly. People are flocking to Montana like crazy. Any houses that were for sale are sold.

Appliances? Forget JennAir stoves, 10 weeks. KitchenAid? Nope! Ended up going GE.

As an aside, there must be a run on freezers because there are none available in western Montana. I don't need one but Fred's Appliances has a big banner on their web page that says "No freezers until further notice."

We stayed up until 10:00 hanging insulation last night and finished insulating an hour before the drywall guys arrived this morning :)

Plumber dropped by and hooked up the domestic hot water boiler.

All our subs have been great they actually have been pushing us to do the work AHEAD of the scheduled start dates. I like it!

Well, we were sweltering in our little camper and after a day and half of hard work SWAMBO and I got the 100' run of 100 amp wire in conduit, in the trench and hooked up to the RV outlets. We now have a two full (water sewer 50 amp power) RV hookups. The AC is on and blissfully cold :bounce:

Awesome day - primer going on the drywall downstairs and ready to prime upstairs tomorrow.

The usable size of the attic continues to stun me.

We decided to put cedar lap siding on the living quarters portion of the building. We bought unfinished cedar and are staining it before hanging it. Here's a photo. We hop to be done next week. 168 16' pieces with 2 coats each of semi-transparent stain takes a lot more time than we first thought!

I will echo the others in asking is there an update in our future? Would love to see some progress on this great project.
