My Garage is 23' X 20' total floor space 452 ft² and the Outbuilding 16' X 20' 323 ft²
Start the New Year with a thread in "Garage Gallery" … I have surfed around on the forum for long time to get inspiration to my outhouse and garage. Must say I am impressed by both the forum and members creativity here!
Posting this thread to show progress and how my garage will finally be inside, hoping of course for some help for a well working hobby garage but still have the possibility to park two cars there. Sorry my English, I do my best
Overview Picture of the property. Main house, outbuilding, garage and trash house (bottom right corner).
We bought the property for over 16 years ago and has since then carried out various improvements. Some of it is a little changing on the garage with a car-wash space behind the garage and a new outhouse (store-house) with a baking room for my wife.
Floor surface garage.
Exterior garage.
DESCRIPTION OF GARAGE BEFORE MY CHANGING:
The garage was not insulated, a total 42 m² and dimension 7,00m length 5,50m width an overhang of about 1,50m X 2,00m.
The garage has standard roof with 22° W-trusses self-supporting. Covered solid wood and Zanda tiles. Roof drains in metal.
Exterior has standing panel, windows isolated H-window (type open) with crossbars. "Overhead Door" garage door in metal of 4.50 mx 2.10 m high with electric lift and remote control type "Genie Screw Drive". Front door is solid wood 1,00m x 2,00m.
Standard electrical wiring. Built in 1996 by the previous owner who was a handy man.

Garage with two cars, motorcycles and cabinets on the left inner wall.
Location of the main house, garage and outbuilding.
Drawings of the outbuilding.
Drawings of the wall to the left for rear garage door where I have plans for IKEA wall cabinet.
Car washing area behind the garage.
Isolation of garage inside.
Construction.
OSB plates inside, painted and two new garage doors. Ready for the installation of heat, light and electric.
The wall to the left for rear garage door where I have plans for IKEA wall cabinet.
What I hope to get as I wrote earlier in this thread is a well working hobby garage with space for tools and equipment but still have the possibility to park our two cars there at night and especially in winter.
For heating, I have installed air to air heat pump… I have two small compressors of 2.5 kW each connected together and hopefully can give air to most of the air tools I need. The plan is to have these two in the outbuilding with piped into the garage...
Purchased from IKEA 4 wall cabinets to be mounting before they can be hung on the wall ... 2 pieces 60x80 and 2 pieces 40x80.
I will be back with more photos
